“Nothing interesting, well sorta but I doubt you’ll want to here about the long winded tests my and my colleagues get up to.” Liam said, shrugging a shoulder.

(shit sorry xD i was tired as hell when i typed that. I have another RP with Zackary and the other person’s character is named Seth)
“‘Long winded tests?’ The hell are those?” Zackary asked with an air of someone who has never heard of such a thing before.
(Aha, dw about it lol)
"I'm a forensic scientists, so we do many… long tests like anthropological, cryptanalysis, DNA and… lots more," He rubbed at his face and sighed.
(^~^)
Zackary yawned rudely in the middle of his explanation. "Sounds boring. I was never one for the medical field, though people have told me I was intelligent enough for it."
Liam frowned, "It's not just medical, it works with criminal analysis too." He argued.
Zackary blew a faint raspberry with a shrug. "So? Not much for it. Sounds tiring and boring."
"Tiring, yes. Boring, not a chance." Liam replied, shaking his head slowly.
Zackary hummed. "My shift's going to end soon, so I'll be able to get you my number. I could leave you in peace too… Unless you wanted to come home with me…" He shook his head. "I dunno why you'd wanna do that…"
"Hm.. I wonder why. I have work tomorrow anyway so even if you were offering I probably shouldn't." Liam replied, finishing his drink.
Zackary glanced at Liam's drink. "You shouldn't even be drinking that. If you have too much you'll be hungover tomorrow."
"Who cares. It won't be the first time I've gone to work hungover." Liam replied, a mischievous grin on his face.
Zackary shook his head and rose off of his stool. "You can get fired for that, you know. Let me grab my phone, and you can meet me out back, in the parking lot."
"Gotcha." Liam grinned at Zackary before heading over to say goodbye to his friends and heading to the parking lot.
Liam waited out there for a bit before he saw Zackary trotting over. "Hey," He said rather breathlessly; he probably ran out. "Here's my number." He handed Liam a slip of paper. "Maybe you'd want to… go out some time? Whenever our schedules line up?"
"Totally, I'll text you the times I'm free and we can work out a date that works." He said, slipping the paper into his wallet to keep it safe.
Zackary nodded, swinging his keys on a long finger. "Cool. See you then. If you want a drink, I'm here every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday."
"Alrighty, I'll be sure to remember that. See you round!" Liam said before heading to his car, humming contently to himself as he left.
Zackary raised a hand in response and plopped down into his car. He set his stuff down in the passenger's, buckled in and started driving home.
(Skip?)
(When to?)
Once Liam was home he made sure to check the days he had to work for the next couple weeks. After that was done, he decided he couldn't be bothered texting Zackary right now and would do it tomorrow, falling asleep shortly after.
(Maybe when they meet up?)
Zackary got home too, unlocked his door and was immediately met with his meowing shorthaired cat, Mittens. He beamed and picked up the cat, who purred and rubbed Zackary's hands.
"Hello Mittens! How was your day?"
Meow.
(Sure thing)
After texting Zackary back and forth for a few days, Liam and him and decided on a date that worked well for both of them. Liam drove to the restaurant cross bar they were to head too and parked outside and waited, leaning against his car.
A car pulled into the parking lot next to Liam's and Zackary stepped out. He was wearing his gray shirt, classic red flannel, and jeans, that really defined to his lady-like legs. His hair was styled more casually than at the bar, too.
"Hey, Liam." He grinned warmly.
"Hey Zackary, long time no see." He said, returning the grin and placing a hand in the pocket of his leather jacket.
Zackary pocketed his trusty key-ring and kept his hand in his pocket, too. "Lead the way." He gestured towards the restaurant with his free hand.
Liam grinned and led them inside. He'd already booked a table and was glad of it since it was fairly busy. Their table was nearer the back of the restaurant and Liam led them over quickly, "Here we are."
