”Alright.” he nodded softly, running his thumb over her knuckles gently.

She smiled kissinng his cheek

Lysander smiled back and gave her a gentle hug with the arm he had around her.

She smiled leaning on him

Lysander looked at her lovingly, still rubbing his thumb against her knuckles.

Henry turned slightly, glancing at Asher’s artwork. ”What are you drawing, little buddy?”

Betty smiled kissing his hand

Asher was drawing a stick figure with fangs."Daddy" he said

Lysander smiled softly and leaned his head a little closer to her. ”My angel.” he whispered.

Henry chuckled a little at the fangs on the picture but smiled. ”You’re doing a great job, Asher.” he said, lightly ruffling the boy's hair.

She smiled when the waitress brought thier fiid

”Alright. Two kid stacks. Meat lovers combo. Waffle triple stack and scrambled eggs.” the waitress listed off as she put each plate in front of the person who ordered it. ”Can I get you anything else?”

"refill?" She asked nudging towards her water

”Coming right up.” she nodded, having to leave to get the pitcher.

Tyler and Betty dug in eating like they never would again

Henry looked at the girls in mild surprise before brushing it off, remembering that they were both expecting.

Lysander shook his head softly, making sure that Laura-Beth and Asher’s pancakes were cut up enough for them.

Betty smiled eating a piece of sausage

Lysander chuckled softly, and almost considered sliding his plate over to the girls.

Betty slipped her earbud in listening to herself sing

Lysander smiled over at his wife and actually ate some of his light meal… even if it was mostly for show.

"I love you guys" Betty said before drowning her water

”Love you too, Bets.” Henry smiled at his sister.

Lysander leaned over and kissed Betty's cheek. ”I’ll always love you, mon amour.”

"I'll hold you to that ly" she said

Lysander chuckled with a bright smile. ”I have no problem with that.”

She smiled and lightly nudged his side in a playful manner

”Hey…” he commented jokingly as she bumped him causing him to sway in his seat.
