" will you re put in my bow" Betty asked Henry

Henry nodded and sat beside Betty, gently undoing her ribbon. ”I’m not as good at this as he is.” he warned gently.

" it'll be fine if it's too bad I'll have him refix it" she said

”Are you still mad at him?” Henry asked as he managed to keep her hair in the half-up-half-down style she had.

"I don't know " she shrugged " oh crap…he wants us to run " she whispered

Henry sighed a little but didn't say anything else about that. ”Is that ok with you?” he asked in regards to running. It was certainly faster and more comfortable than the car… at least in his opinion.

She took his hand placing it on her stomach showing him a vision of a baby inside her

”Bets…!” he exclaimed softly with a small smile. ”Congratulations! … I’m guessing Ly doesn't know about this.” he sighed.

She shook her head

”You should.” he said softly. ”Otherwise, this family is going to get into a bad habit of the wrong husband knowing before the actual father does.” he chuckled a little as he finished tying her bow.

Betty giggled" so ill have to drive" she said

”I can drive.” he offered. ”We have to be pretty close by now and you can tell me where to go.”

"you guys can run and I'll take the car" she said

Henry shook his head. ”I don't know. Tyler can't run the same as we can and Laura-Beth is too young for it. I don't think Asher can either.” he pointed out thoughtfully.

"you could carry Tyler and she could hold Asher and lysander could hold Laurabeth" she suggested

Henry gave a small nod. ”Yeah… We could do that. But you still have to tell him.”

"now?" She asked

Henry shrugged. ”I mean maybe not this very second but… maybe before we leave?” he suggested. ”That way he knows why you would rather take the car.”

" I'll tell him alone" she said

”Ok. What time did you want to leave?” Henry asked as Lysander walked back into the room, though he still looked a little despondent.

"like in ten minutes" she said

”Sounds fair. I’ll get the kids up.” Henry said. ”Laura-Beth hasn't started needing blood yet, right?”

Lysander nodded. ”She eats a lot for her age but it's all normal food.” he smiled a little at the thought of his daughter.

She nodded " I had her when I was a hybrid" she said

”I remember, Bets.” Henry smiled at her. ”I was just making sure.”

She smiled gently
