Laura-Beth sat in her bed, hoping that her mama really would come back.

”Everything alright?” Lysander asked as he saw Betty.

She gave a simple nod at her husband still mad at him as she headed towards the kitchen

Lysander sighed a little and stood to follow her, smacking the side of Henry's head as he passed.

Henry didn't flinch, only gave his brother a light glare.

Betty started to make the cocoa for Laura Beth

”Darling?” Lysander said softly as he walked into the kitchen.

She ignored him as she took the hot cocoa out of the microwave

He sighed and walked a little closer to her. ”We weren't making fun of you.” he assured her. ”We were laughing at the movie. I’m sorry if that upset you.”

She walked around him.to get marshmallows

”Betty, please don't ignore me.” he begged. ”The only reason we don't like Twilight is because it's basically a mockery of what we are.”

She turned around and looked at him "20 year old girls that's what we are we were robbed of our childhood of our teenage years everything" she said

”I know, love.” he said gently. ”I just… I don't want to stop you from what you want. If you really want to watch it then go ahead. It's just… those books were hard enough to read and I’ve seen too many good books slandered by Hollywood's attempts to make a movie.” he shuddered a little. ”But I want you to be happy more than anything.”

"Laurabeth needs me right now" she said

”Is she alright?” he asked.

"she'll be fine" she said

”What’s wrong?” he asked again.

"just a nightmare"she said of gritted teeth

He sighed and nodded. He could tell he was making things worse. ”Ok. I’ll let you get back to her. I love you.” he told her before he left the room. Henry’s going to hate me for this.

She took the Coco upstairs to Laura Beth

Laura-Beth looked at the door, a little scared until she saw Betty.

She brought the hot coco to her

”Thank you.” Laura-Beth smiled a little as she took the drink.

" feel better" she asked

Laura-Beth nodded. ”I’ll try.” she answered.

”Hey, Tyler? Would you mind if we put in a different movie?” Lysander asked quietly. He wanted to surprise Betty.

"I guess" she said

Lysander gave Tyler a grateful smile before taking out the movie he knew the girls wanted to watch.

”Will it help, mama?” Laura-Beth asked, looking at the hot chocolate.
