”Ok, first of all, ouch!” Henry said placing a hand over his heart. ”Second of all, even us ”idiots” can't control how fast we react to certain things. A reflex is a mostly involuntary action. Sometimes it's something you never realized that you could do.” he pointed out.

Tyler concentrated her eyes turning purple and after a few minutes Betty let a few tears roll down her cheeks and hold a hand to her neck her face full of pain

”Woah! Not in front of the kids.” Henry exclaimed before quickly picking them both up and taking them to Laura-Beth’s room.

Lysander stepped closer to Betty, ready to intervene if things started to get too bad. Though he already wanted to.

She groaned out in pain and then everything went dark

”Tyler, stop.” Lysander said firmly as he quickly caught Betty before she fell.

Lysander sighed, a little in relief but with a note of concern. ”Are you sure?”

She nodded and kissed him

He gently kissed her back. ”Next time, I’ll be the guinea pig.”

Some time had passed and she was putting Laura-beth to bed
