She took him by the hand " come on" she said leading him.downstairs

He smiled and followed her downstairs.

She walked to the living room with a smile

”That was a long minute.” Henry teased as he saw them approach.

Lysander shrugged. ”Yeah, sorry. We got distracted.” he smiled.

She smiled taking his arm to put it around her shoulders

Lysander chuckled a little and gently pulled her to his side, kissing her temple.

Laura-Beth smiled and ran over to her mother, hugging her legs. ”Hi.” she giggled.

She picked her daughter up holding her at her hip

”Did you have fun at the movies?” Lysander asked, smirking slightly at Henry.

Henry rolled his eyes and picked up Asher. ”The kids had more fun than I did but it wasn't terrible.”

Betty smiled and kissed her daughter's head

Laura-Beth giggled and kissed her mama's cheek.

”So… Do you know where we’re going?” Henry asked. ”Tyler just kept smirking at me every time I ask her.”

Betty looked up at the boys with a smirk

”Does that answer your question, Hen?” Lysander chuckled.

Henry sighed a little and shook his head in playful exasperation. ”You girls are going to drive me crazy.”

" I drove your brother crazy" she said

”Crazy enough to marry you.” Lysander teased, picking her up into his arms.
