She smiled gently and snuggled closer

He smiled back and held her closer.

She closed her eyes and it all came crashing down all the bad memories

He could hear her heart pick up and could recognize that she was scared. He gently kissed her temple. ”It’s alright, love. You're safe now, remember. He's gone.” he reminded her softly.

" why's Marie here" she asked

”I honestly don't know.” he admitted. ”She just showed up yesterday and in all the excitement, I thought she would have left last night.”

She groaned closing her eyes but winced realizing she reopened the wound on her lip

He saw her wince and could smell the blood. He gently ran his finger over the cut. ”I’m so sorry, princess.”

She sighed " I shouldn't have ran from him" she said

“Don’t say that.” he told her gently. ”You did the right thing in getting away from him.”

" no I tried earlier and he.caught me and I payed the price" she said

He frowned slightly, not liking the idea of anyone hurting his precious wife and love. ”I… I am so sorry for everything he put you through but I promise; you will never have to go through anything like that again, my queen.”

She sighed " he gave me one call and by mistake I called Henry and he didn't answer"

”Oh, darling.” he sighed as well, though for a different reason. He admittedly was a little hurt that she called Henry first but he wouldn't hold it against her. ”I am so sorry.”

" i would've called you but I thought you were mad at me for what I did" she said

”I…” he started then shook his head. ”I was never mad at you. I was confused about… everything, I guess. And I won't say that our last conversation didn't hurt but I wasn't mad.” he told her. ”I would have been there. I would have brought you home sooner.”

" I couldn't put you in danger like that ever it was the same basement you were when they took you" she said

Lysander did shudder a little at the mention of that particular basement. ”I don't care about when you were, I still would have come.” he said honestly.

" lysander why do you think I wake up every day why I come back after I die because you are my life my boyfriend my fiance my husband my light my life" she said

He smiled and kissed her forehead again. ”I love you too, my angel, my queen, my wife, my world.”

She smiled and played with her fingers

He kissed her cheek and watched her hands.
