Lysander sighed a little. ”Yeah, I could but you come first, Betty.”

Marie had stopped at the offer but shook her head. ”I don't need protection. I need this mark gone.” she pointed out.

" Well I can't do that " she growled " you know why don't I just go to.Alwc then you'll be fine" she said harshly

”No.” Lysander growled a little though his tone was firm. ”I’m not going to let you go back to him. You’d have to kill me before I agree to that.”

”Don’t be so overdramatic, Lysander.” Marie rolled her eyes. ”Besides even if Betty did go to Alec, I highly doubt he would let me go. He's not a man of his word.” she sighed briefly.

”Reassuring.” Marie muttered, crossing her arms grumpily.

”Doesn’t matter.” Lysander said. ”Alec is a dead man and I won't let him take my wife.”

¨Okay Marie, I understand your situation but you're in my house And this attitude isn´t going to work I don´t want to help you at all I hate you so much¨ Betty said.

”Fine.” Marie glared. ”It’s no secret that I never liked you either. I only came here because you were able to help me before.” she said, finally walking away.

Lysander scowled after Marie as she left but relaxed his hold around Betty a little.

Betty growled and left the room

Lysander wanted to follow her but he needed a minute to calm down. Seeing Marie did nothing but make him angry anymore and he didn't want to accidentally hurt Betty.

Betty walked downstairs cussing to herself

”Mama?” Laura-Beth said softly, looking up from her toys in the living room.

She walked out of the house after giving her ring to Tyler and walked out to the.storm slamming the door behind her she was too angry to interact

”Mama!” Laura-Beth called after her, standing up as she wanted to go after her mother but she wasn't allowed outside when it was raining.

Lysander looked up when he heard his daughter's cry and the door close. Deciding he was calm enough he headed downstairs.

Tyler opened her palm and looked at the ring in it

Lysander looked around once he came to the living room, checking for either of his girls when he saw Tyler.

Lysander looked back at Tyler. ”Did you see where Betty went?” he asked. ”I heard the door.”

Kyler didn't answer just look back down at her open Palm where the ring set

Lysander followed her gaze and froze. ”Why do you have that?”

" she gave it to me" she said

Lysander blinked for a second and quickly grabbed the ring and sped out the door, looking for Betty.

Betty was by the lake by Henry's house

It took a little while but he finally arrived at the lake.

She sat by the edge her knees pulled to her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs crying softly with her head barried in her knees

He walked up behind her but didn't sit down yet. ”Why did you leave?” he asked.
