”Ok. That's it.” Lysander sighed and picked her up. ”Sorry, guys. I think Betty is getting sick so I'm going to have to ask you to leave so I can take care of her.” he informed the guests.

" I'm fine". She said

”You’re ice cold and you're not a vampire.” he reminded her. ”I’m taking you up to bed and making you soup.” he said firmly.

She shook her head

“Don’t give me that.” Lysander scolded gently. ”I don't want you to get sick. Let me take care of you.”

We should get Marie inside the house and lysander 'accidenly ' kisses her in.front of betty

”Too bad. Because that's what I’m going to do.” Lysander said, starting to head upstairs with her. ”See you guys later.”

”Bye you lovebirds.” Henry chuckled. ”Let’s go home, babe.”

"Ly!" She started to argue

”No, Betty. I’m putting my foot down on this.” he told her. ”If you’re better in the morning, you can rub my face in it and say I overreacted until then I’m going through with this.” he said, opening the bedroom door.

When he opened the door there was marie

Lysander froze when he saw Marie in their bedroom and reflexively held Betty closer to himself. ”Marie? What are you doing here? How did you get in?”

Marie was a little wet from the storm, but she was shaking for a different reason. ”Something’s wrong. I need your help.”

Betty looked at her

“What’s wrong?” Lysander asked, a little concerned but still cautious.

Maire dried her eyes and showed them the mark on her arm. ”You said if I was human, Alec wouldn't be able to do this again.” she told Betty. ”I know he was here. That's why I'm here now. He's the reason why I… I didn't want to hurt Zach.” she ended in a whisper.

" I don't believe you" she said

”I guess I deserve that.” Marie said, letting her arm drop. ”But what I don't understand is why I'm going back to the way I was before I died. You said you could make me human. I thought you meant for good.”

Lysander raised a brow at the blunt accusation but didn't say anything, just held her closer.

Marie gaped at Betty. ”Then why did you help me before?” she asked finally.

" because believe it or not I care about my husband and I thought he'd go back to you" she said

Lysander looked at Betty. ”You know I would never leave you, love. Why did you think if Marie was human I’d choose her over you?” he asked.

" That doesn't matter right now" she said

”I guess it doesn't since it's a moot point.” Lysander agreed.

Marie shook her head. ”Fine. Don't help me.” she said. ”But when Alec comes back after you again and I’m at his side, don't blame me.” she told them, walking out of the house.
