"In that case, the A.c. goes up!" She raced off towards the thermostat and turned it off. "Now you'll feel the true heat of hell!" She laughed evily.

"Whoa, come on don't do that." She just made the wrong decision. And he was going to use it to his advantage. He looked down and unbuttoned the button on his pants. "If you don't want these to come off as well, you should turn the A.C back on." If she gets embarrassed with just taking his shirt off, this will be so much worse. Let the games begin! He looked her straight in the eyes and smirked.

"Hmmm, how about no" she scurried off and locked herself in her room. "Have fun melting!" She shouted threw the door. If he was going to play dirty then so was she. Who's to say she couldn't make him fall in love with her.

"Hey!" He chased after her, but Eve got a head start and he wasn't able to catch up. He could already feel the heat. "Okay, seriously you have to turn the air back on." His head began to hurt again and spots showed in his eyes. It was way to hot for him, he would legitimately melt. It was getting hard to breath and everything was blurred. "Eve." His body fell to the floor making a loud thud.

"Connor?" She asked opening the door. "Holy heck!" She shouted, "Connor? Hey stop messing with me" the a.c…. she got up and turned it back on then ran back to Connor with a cup of water, "hey wake up" she slapped him slightly.

"Praise me." He smiled and opened one eye. "My acting is pretty good right?" He didn't know she worried that much for him. Now she was going to be pissed though. It's not like he wanted to make her mad, he seriously was starting to feel weird. It was only to get her to turn the air back on. Sweat dripped down his face. Taking the drink from her hand he took a drink.

"Why you!" She tried to poor the water on him but he took it from her hand before she could. "You're the worst" she said standing up. "Next time I'll just let you die then" Eve puffed her cheeks at him.

She looked utterly adorable when she did that. Conner had to look away, he was not about to fall into that trap. She's supposed to fall in love with him, not the other way around. "Sorry, but I seriously would have died if I didn't do that." He stood up and smiled down at her. "You look weird when you make that face." Lie, he just didn't want her to make that face again, it would be bad for his heart. He poked her puffed out cheek. "I'll go put a shirt on okay. So, will you forgive me?"

"Hm, better get used to the heat then huh?" She glared a not so friendly glare now, "and for the record I do not look weird when I make that face!" Eve slapped his hand when he poked her cheek, "I'll forgive you. But wear what ever you'd like. Two can play at this game after all." She slammed the door to her room and locked it. two can play indeed she smirked to herself as she changed into a tank top and shorts.

Conner just shrugged and walked to his room to get a clean shirt. It was just a plain gray one. He sighed. "She should definitely not make that face again." In the bathroom he rinsed his face off, wiping the sweat away. He was having a good time with Eve though. He would never tell her that though, she would use it against him. Leaving him room he walked back to her room. "I've got a shirt on so you can come out."

Eve opened the door and leaned in the door frame, "that I can see" she glared at him like normal, she looked down at her watch, "oh would you look at that its-" a bell cut her off, "lunch time!" She shouted and headed for the dinning room.

Conner stayed behind a bit. He wasn't expecting her to come dressed like that, and he definitely didn't want her to see him blushing. How come it seems he's the only one getting flustered. Once he calmed down, he entered the dining room. "What's for lunch?" He sat across from her, sitting next to her would be a bad idea right now.

she smirked to herself. "How should I know? Its not like I cook" the maids brought out two plates, "sandwiches!" Eve shouted with glee as she bit into hers.

"You like sandwiches?" They were very common on earth, so he wasn't as excited as Eve. "They aren't hard to make, it actually really easy." If she liked them so much couldn't she just make them herself whenever she wanted? Conner took his first bite and it tasted a bit weird, but he didn't question since he was hungry.

"There's not much bread in hell you know?" She looked up at him and took another bite. "So consider you're self lucky"

"I wouldn't really saw lucky, but okay." It was amusing to watch Eve get excited over bread. "It's good at least." He smiled. Still, it felt weird eating a sandwich in hell. "I always thought demons ate human flesh or something."

Eve looked up at him and started choking on her sandwich from laughing. She pounded her first on the table a few times before grabbing her drink and chugging "only some demons….and don't humans eat flesh too? You know…cows? Birds? Pigs?" She looked at him some what annoyed.

"True, but we don't eat human flesh… Unless they are seriously mentally ill." Conner didn't think it was funny at all and did know why she was laughing to hard. He finally looked over at her, but…. forgot she was wearing a shirt the was a bit revealing and immediately turned away. This is not happening, I'm not going to fall in love with her at all. I just think she is a little attractive that's all. he nodded his head, which probably looked really weird to Eve.

Eve gave him a weird look, "why are you nodding your head?" She asked tilting hers. Human baffled her to be honest. they only eat them if they're mentally ill? she was a bit confused as to why they'd do that. But its not like she'd argue. After all, hell was a weird place too.

"What?" He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Eve's voice. "It's nothing." Thank goodness she can't read minds. He finished his food and pushed the plate away. Leaning back in his chiari he closed his eyes and waited for Eve to be done.

Eve finished rather fast and was satisfied with the meal. "Thank goodness for bread!" She shouted and stood.

Conner chuckled at her statement. She was completely different from his first impression of her. Her being relaxed and more complicated around him was much more fun then her being so uptight. "So what now?" He wasn't sure of what to do next.
