(That's chill.)
Eve was almost home when she turned around. "Ugh I can't just let her do what ever she's going to do to him" she ran back as fast as she could in a dress. The heat getting worse and worse, and the screams ringing Thew the air. She spotted lzzy and Connor, "hey!" She shouted. "Leave him alone." She huffed, her chest heaving up and down from the run.
(I might not be around tomorrow sorry)
Conner fell to the ground on relief when he heard Eve's voice. Izzy spun the knife around her finger. "Why do you care what happens to him?" Izzy quickly swiped the knife down cutting Conner's shoulder. "What the hell!" He shouted and his hand on reflex went to his shoulder to stop the bleeding.
"I don't care. But my father sure would" Eves eyes flashed dangerous like before. "You know, the king of hell" she stepped close and took the knife from lzzy. "Next time, watch who you're gonna mess with before taking them"
Izzy pulled a knife from her pants pocket and stabbed the girl behind her in the leg. And that was enough for Conner. "Yep, I'm done." He thought he could last longer then this, but Izzy set him off. "I'm out." He began to walk away. Honestly he would rather get eaten then stay here forever, obviously Eve wasn't going to fall in love with him so what's the point. "Please tell me there is some way to erase my existence so I don't have to be here anymore?"
Eve grabbed Connors arm "don't forget, lzzy demons are the only ones here that can't come back after death" she dragged Connor back home. "Sorry you had to see that" she gave him an apolagetic look.
"Can a human turn demon?" He yanked his arm away, just like she did earlier. He was serious about dying, either that or just turn demon already. He ran over to a tree and bent over, he wasn't feeling to good. That girls face kept coming to mind.
"Um yeah… If they do enough bad" Eve walked over to him and folded her arms not really knowing what to do, "I'm truly sorry you had to see that" even if she was a demon she did have some angel blood in her. Which ment she could care. "I can talk to my father about sending you back"
"Listen." His eyes were sharp when he looked at her. "I don't need your damn apology." She didn't care so why is she acting like it now. "How about instead of an apology, you think about who left me in a situation like that." He crossed his arms. "If I ever see her again, I can promise you that I'll kill her."
"You're blaming me!? You're the one who decided I was a stairotypical demon and wanted to be with someone else!" Heat raised inside her. "And besides! If you didn't act so…so challenging I'd have been nicer!" She glared at him. my fault? Yeah blame if on the demon! Its what you humans always do anyway.
"So, you want me to act like a submissive scared human while I'm in hell?" He laughed and leaned against the tree. "I'm not going to act like someone who can easily break in this place. And maybe if you were nicer to me to begin with I wouldn't have acted that way!" Calm down Conner, don't let her get to you. The longer he was here the more he felt his humanity go away. You're not like this, you should apologize. Conner was having an entirnal conflict with himself. Just shut up! Pain shot through his head. "I'm going crazy in this place. Does this happen often to humans down here?" He was mostly talking to himself.
Eve tilted her head, "sometimes" she said making eye contact. "It might be the heat, have you had anything to drink or eat yet today?" You've been with him all day she told herself. "Or what you saw…look I'm sorry. I just get really defensive when my father uses my feelings as a game-" she stopped talking and looked down, "I am truly sorry."
"So am I." He wasn't going to become this kind of person. Rubbing his head he smiled. It wasn't entirely her felt, Conner would be upset if someone tried to control his feelings. Although that doesn't mean he was going to give up, he was going to get out of here. "I guess I'll just have to get used to living down here now."
To be brutally honest, this was the first human Eve wished would get out of here alive. But she didn't tell him that. "Well if you're still up for the challenge then so am I. And don't think I'll make it easy now that I pity you" she gave him a challenging grin "now! Its going to climb to over 200 degrees so we best get some where with A.c."
"For one, I don't need you're pity. And two I'm going to make you fall in love with me." He wasn't as confident as he sounded, but he also wasn't going to make it easy for her. Conner was a decent looking guy and nice, most of the time. "Alright, let's go." He followed her to where ever she was going.
Eve pushed the door to her fathers house open, and cranked the A.c. down. "This…this is what death feels like" she slid to the ground sweating and laughed. "Ever feel heat like this back on earth?"
"Nope." He collapsed to the ground, laughing with her. The marble floor felt nice on his skin, so he decided to lay there a bit longer. "I thought I was going to die." Conner closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Thanks by the way, for you know… coming back." He mumbled and opened one eye to look at her.
"No problem…" She laughed. "By the way how's the shoulder?" She asked looking over to Connor. "Was it a deep cut? Or just a scratch? I didn't really get a good look at it"
"I totally forgot about, so I guess it isn't that deep." Finally sitting he took his shirt off to get a better look. "It's not to deep, it just needs to be cleaned then it should be good." He looked over at her a bit concerned. "You do have stuff to clean wounds in hell right?"
"What is with you and taking your shirt off today!?" Eve laughed and looked away, "and yes we do." Eve stood "this way" she led Connor threw twists and turns till they arrived at a room that looked a bit like a hospital room. She rumedged till she found what she was looking for and handed it to Connor, "now clean up and put a shirt on"
"But it's hot." He complained, running a hand through his hair and smirked. Like he said, he wasn't going to make it easy for her, he liked a challenge. "For a little bit can I not wear it? I don't think anyone would mind." He picked up the alcohol and put it on a cotton ball cleaning his cut. Conner winced at the pain, alcohol was good for cleaning but it hurt like crazy.
so this is how the game is going to go then huh? "put on a shirt, unless you want me to take mine off" she glared at him and pulled her shirt up a little.
"Go ahead." He watched her every move. She's bluffing. His chin rested in his hand, waiting her the moment she took her shirt off. He wasn't going to lie, she was incredibly beautiful and had a nice body, so honestly he wouldn't mind if she took it off.
"I- you are such a boy!" She shouted standing up. "And if you wish to have your shirt off I'll crank up the A.c. again." She glared but this time it didn't seem angry, more like a friendly glare. Or atlest as friendly as a glare can get.
"Oh man." Conner snapped his fingers. "I was really hoping you were going to take your shirt off." He teased and It came out a bit overdramatic. It was half truth though. Conner slapped on a band aid and got up following behind Eve. He was sure of what to do now.
