(Lol hi)
Phoebe couldn’t believe her luck. She had Elide under her mouth. Under her hands. The supposed-to-be-straight girl from Britain wanted to kiss her. She shifted her hands up so that they were gently cupping the other girl’s face, deepening the kiss.
Elide smiled into the kiss, running her hands gently through Phoebe's hair as the kiss deepened. Gosh she never wanted this moment to end. She wanted to stay in Phoebe's arms and never leave.
The only thought anchored in Phoebe’s head was Elide. The only word she seemed capable of uttering was that name. Elide’s hands were in her hair and her mouth was so soft— Phoebe never wanted to pull away. But eventually, when her air ran out, she had to.
Elide made a small, soft noise of disappointment when Phoebe pulled away but knew she needed the air too. Her eyes fluttered open slowly and she willed her breathing to even out. She took the moment to admire the others face.
Phoebe tried to take a breath, but she couldn’t seem to take any air in. Elide’s face was so close, barely a few centimetres away, and her eyes— god her eyes. Phoebe couldn’t move.
Elide bit her lip as Phoebe looked at her, blushing slightly. She had the urge to look away but just couldn't. She let her hand drift to rest on Phoebe's cheek, rubbing her thumb gently over it.
Phoebe sucked in a quick breath, doe eyes widening as she leaned into the touch. “I didn’t think— I didn’t think you felt that way—“
"After… the lunch incident I-I didn't want to cause you any trouble…" Elide admitted quietly, the blush deepening.
"This? This is not trouble, believe me." Phoebe leaned in to bump her nose against Elide's, heart pattering helplessly.
Elide let a giggle slip, "And I was also really nervous to tell you…"
Phoebe trailed her fingers lazily over Elide's jawline. "And how about now?" She leaned in and kissed the other girl softly. "Still nervous?"
"Maybe a little," Elide willed her heart to slow, "Phoebe… I-I um… I-I like you, a lot and I've never… god I suck at this…"
Phoebe shushed her gently with a kiss. “I like you too..” she murmured into Elide’s mouth. “And I’d like it— I’d like it if—“ she slowly brought her hands down the the other girl’s waist, completely unsure of where this bravado was coming from. “I’d like it if you came to dinner with me tomorrow…”
Tomorrow. The anniversary was tomorrow but… "I'd love too." Elide wrapped her hands around Phoebe's neck again, standing on her toes as she placed another kiss to her lips.
Phoebe paused. “Wait— I wasn’t thinking. The day after tomorrow is better— I forgot about the anniversary—“ But god, she loved being here with Slide.
"It's fine, day after tomorrow I'll go to dinner with you." Elide ran a hand through Phoebe's hair gently and bit her lip.
“Perfect.” Phoebe shivered under her touch, running a finger over the other girl’s cheekbone.
Elide leaned into Phoebe's touch, letting out a small sigh as her eyes fluttered shut.
Phoebe shifted her hand back down to Elide’s waist, leaning her forehead against the other girl’s. “You’re so beautiful….”
Elide blushed furiously, "I-I… S-So are you…" Gosh she was embarrassing herself.
Phoebe couldn't help a flushed smile, her flusteredness peaking through. "I'm glad– I'm glad I have this effect on you–" her eyes lingered on Elide's pink cheeks.
"I-I um…" If it was possible to blush further then Elide was redder then she had ever been, "Phoebe…" She whined, burying her face in the crook of her neck.
An exhilarated laugh escaped from Phoebe's lips as she buried a hand in Elide's hair to press her face harder against her neck. "Elide…" she echoed, her one arm wrapped around her waist.
A muffled whine escaped Elide as she tried to calm her blush. But gosh did it feel nice to be so close to Phoebe.
Phoebe laughed again, but it was weak this time. "If you don't mind me asking…. do you only like girls?"
