"Nice to meet you, Pheobe. I'm Elide." She smiled slightly and took another few steps forward, having to look up a little at the new girl, "Sorry for taking your photo without consent, it was just that the uh… the lighting was to good to pass up on…"
Phoebe laughed lightly, getting her first good look at Elide’s face. And wow, she was pretty. You and your lesbian ass., she grumbled to herself, smiling at Elide. “I don’t mind, could I see it? I thought I was the only one crazy enough to be out here this early.”
Elide nodded and smiled at Phoebe, "Of course! And no, the lighting's always good this time of morning and at around five in the evening." She explained, moving so she was standing next to Phoebe and brought up the photo to show her.
“It’s golden hour, right?”, Phoebe asked, shifting slightly so that she could see the photo better. And she had to admit, it looked amazing, what with the lighting and the angle, and the fact that you couldn’t quite see her ugly face. “Wow, this is really good. Where did you learn to take pictures like this?”
"Y-Youtube…" Elide admitted quietly, keeping her gaze on the camera screen, "And uh, yeah, yeah it's golden hour." A faint blush rose to her cheeks and she tucked a strand of her blonde hair out of her face so it wasn't falling over the camera.
Phoebe’s eyes flickered to Elide’s blush, but she pretended not to notice. “It’s really good. Are you new here?”, she asked, fiddling with one of her earrings. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you before.”
Elide nodded and put her camera away in her bag, "Uh yeah, I am. I just moved here recently with my… family." The word sounded slightly strained but she smiled up at Phoebe anyway.
Phoebe smothered a tiny frown, wondering why the word ‘family’ had sounded so strange coming from Elide’s mouth, smiling back. “Well, uh… welcome to hell, I guess.”
"It could be a lot worse… I could never have met you this morning for example." Elide nudged Phoebe with her elbow and a little giggle.
Phoebe found herself grinning widely. “Yeah. Maybe we’re in some classes together, do you have your schedule on you?” She dropped onto one knee, unzipping her backpack and rummaging around before pulling out a slightly crumpled white sheet.
"Hm? Oh yeah, I do." Elide swung her bag around carefully and pulled out her schedule and unfolded the white piece of paper, "Here." She held it out next to Phoebe's.
Phoebe’s eyes darted from her page to Elide’s, noting with satisfaction that many of their classes were the same. “First period math today, we’ve got together.. second period we don’t, third period we’re together again.”
Elide grinned, "Great! Even though I really don't want to do maths first up at least you'll be there." She kept her eyes on the papers for a few more moments.
“Ugh, same here.”, she agreed, returning her schedule to her bag. “So, where did you move from?”
"Small, crappy town in England…" Elide muttered, putting her schedule in her bag.
Phoebe laughed a little. “Explains the accent. Where in England?”
"Doncaster. Not the best place to grow up in all honestly." Elide shrugged a shoulder and tried to push out the bad memories from there, "Have you been here your whole life?"
(Lmao it’s literally almost one am and I’m participating in a lesbian rp)
Phoebe shook her head. “I moved from Greece when I was six. Don’t remember it much.”
(Holy moly, shouldn't you be getting some sleep?)
Elide nodded, "I've never been to Greece, I've seen photos and it looks magnificent!"
(Nahh, what time is it for you?)
“It’s beautiful.”, Phoebe replied honestly. “Have you ever been to London?”
(4:10 pm)
Elide nodded with a smile, "Yes! I have. My camera is actually from there, my brother bought it for me when we went."
(Oh damn)
“What’s it like? I’ve always wanted to go.” Phoebe sat back down on the ground, inviting Elide to do the same.
Elide took up on the offer and sat down next to Phoebe, "Cold, but that's to be expected. But it's great, the sights are amazing and when it snows at night with all the lights…" She let out a content sigh.
“It sounds awesome.. better than here, at least.” Phoebe glanced at Elide.
Elide nodded slowly, "Yeah… I'd do anything to be back there…"
