Elide changed quickly, doing what Phoebe said and styling the shirt into a french tuck. She bit her lip as she looked herself over, feeling a little self conscious that the shirt was kind of see through but not a lot. She headed back to Phoebe.
(She’s wearing this but with black jean shorts instead and a sorta see-through cardigan thing https://pin.it/fdrgtz66oko5gr)
Phoebe was just pulling on her shirt when Elide entered, and yanked it down, flustered. “Hey. You—“ She stopped dead. Elide—— looked……. amazing. “Those suit you.” She finally managed with a grin, slipping on her cardigan.
"Oh, thanks. You don't look to bad yourself." That was an understatement. Elide thought Phoebe looked beautiful and she tried to be subtle looking her over once before giving her a smile.
“Thanks. You— yeah.” She had been about to say ‘you look gorgeous I can’t believe I didn’t notice before’ but she stopped herself just in time. Forcing her eyes away from Elide’s slightly visible torso, she quickly made her bed. “We’ve still got a bit of time, what do you want to do?”
Elide shrugged a should and combed through her hair with her fingers, "Breakfast? Or I have my camera… I could take some photos of you… if you want…"
Phoebe brightened, eyes following the movement of Elide’s hand. “Pictures sound nice. Any ideas?”
"Is there a park near by? We could go there…" Elide's mind was already racing with ideas that would compliment Phoebe.
“Yeah, just around back. Let’s get our stuff and go straight to school from there?” Phoebe smiled at the thoughtful look on Elide’s face.
"Yeah… yeah that's a good idea." Elide bit her lip in thought as she went to grab her bag and her camera.
A few minutes later, they were out the door, the sun warming their backs. “Any ideas?”
"Can you climb a tree?" Elide asked, a mischievous smile working its way onto her lips.
Phoebe blinked. “Yeah… you want me to pose in a tree?” She grinned.
"Yup. Don't question it." Elide didn't stop smiling as she scanned the park for a good enough tree.
Elide’s grin was infectious, and Phoebe caught it quickly. “Will you met me take some pictures of you too?”
"Only if you don't break my camera." Elide laughed a little and nudged Phoebe before pointing to a climbable tree, "That one."
Phoebe scaled the tree after a few attempts, glancing back down at Elide. “Which branch?”
"Um…" Elide scanned the tree before settling on one about where Phoebe was, "About there is fine, maybe the one to your… right."
Phoebe did as instructed. “How do you want me to… pose?”
"Hold the branch above you with your left hand and bring you right knee up and rest your right arm on your knee." Elide took a few shots just to get the lighting and angle right.
Phoebe stayed as still as she could, alternating between smiling bashfully down at the camera and looking away with flushed cheeks. She wasn’t exactly sure what was going on inside her, but she was pretty sure it had something to do with the fact that a very gorgeous girl was snapping pictures of her. Not noticing that her hair had become mussed, she tried out a less flustered facial expression, failing.
Elide smiled behind the camera, taking as many good photos as she could. Phoebe looked beautiful, with the sun shining on her face like it was, her hair a mess but still somehow neat at the same time.
"You can come down now."
Phoebe nodded, scrambling to get down. She was a breathless mess and she couldn’t pin down why, but she pretended otherwise. “Can I see?”
Elide nodded and flicked through the photos she took and showed them all to Phoebe, "You could become a model…" She mumbled.
The comment didn’t help the pink colouring of Phoebe’s cheeks, rather intensified it. “I— I doubt that. The only time I look good is when you photograph me. Which, by the way, you’re amazing at. Photography, I mean. Not taking pictures of me. I mean— that too— you know what—“ She gave up rambling. “Sorry.”
The pictures were amazing, the lighting, angle, everything. And one picture stopped her heart for a moment. The last one, the one where she was looking directly at the camera, clearly flustered, but happy.
Elide giggled a little, "You don't have to say sorry. Thank-you. For saying I'm good at photography and all that." A very light blush rose to her cheeks but she ignored it. She smiled down at the photo, probably her favourite out of the bunch.
