(Same with me, you can also be an apprentice of the ranger my character is apprentice-ing for or make a ranger if your own)
Will sat in meeting after meeting listening to their plans of action. Wishing he could give input, but his parents warned him not to. All he really wanted to know was why this was happening in the first place. After the last meeting it was dusk almost completely night. His parents had him escorted to his room then locked in there for his own "good".
Phoenix had made it deep into the forest. She honestly had needed a walk after today.
Rey wished he didn’t burn those papers. As he watched the dying spats of sparks, he thought, I could’ve shown them when they came to cut my head off. How desperate all of the Kingdoms wanted just one blacksmith. I guess I am useful… being the Master Blacksmith…
Will walked to his closet and changed to his regular clothes his non formal clothes. Then he walked to his window and jumped out of the window. He walked to the horse barn grabbed his griffin Forest and walked to the forest, he needed a walk.
Phoenix reached a tree stump and slowly sat down. Her arms were tired from walking so much, she regretted not grabbing Cloud before heading out here.
Will walked through the forest for a while he just wanted to get away. He didn't care about the threat of war or if there was anyone in the forest that could kill him right now. He just needed some peace for a little while.
Phoenix could hear footsteps and her whole body tensed. Her hand reached for her dagger before figuring maybe it was better to look like a dumb cripple. After all no one really knew what she looked like.
He kept walking. He didn't know how long he had been walking for or how far he went. Forest followed quietly behind him, sniffing the air and listening to everything.
Phoenix controlled her breathing as she relaxed. Seems like whomever it was passed her.
Bren stirred the pot some more, it making a small explosion to show that it was done. "Perfect!" He exclaimed, rubbing his hands together.
Forest perked up. Will looked around but saw no one near. "Forest shush." he wispered
Phoenix thought she heard something. She let put a sigh as she moved to stand up with her crutches. Safe to say she fell and was now on the ground. This was going well.
Vespera redirected the carriage towards the forest so she could pass over the border more quietly. She continued to count her wares in the back and record what hadn’t yet been sold. Blue seemed a little uneasy.
Forest pushed Will down and rushed to the sound.
Phoenix grunted as she tried to stand up. Nope, that wasn't happening. Stupid legs.
Will got up and chased after Forest. "STOP." he yelled to forest.
Phoenix heard that and started muttering curses under her breath. She moved faster trying to get at least halfway up before falling on her back. Nope this was just not her day.
"I'm going to the forest," Bren called out, he needed some herbs and would rather not go to the herbalists. Well, he doesn't want to interact with humans in general.
Will grabbed Forest by the neck when he got a chance and saw a girl on the ground several feet away.
Phoenix just laid there, staring into the sky. She let out a long sigh figuring someone had seen her already.
Aalexi walked quickly down the street, keeping her head down. The square wasn’t as busy as it usually was. What haven’t I been told? She thought, slightly irritated that her mother hadn’t filled her in, or even wished her good morning. She came to the end of the lane where the road split off into two directions. Right, always right. She told herself sternly as she turned down the bigger of the paths.
"Do you need help?" Will asked quietly pushing forest behind himself to hide the griffin. Will didn't want the girl to be frightened by the beast.
Vespera thought she heard voices. Were they border guards? She looked around nervously. She didn't see anyone.
"Blue, go check it out," she said, extending her arm to give the bird more room to take off.
Blue flew over Will and Phoenix, circled in a soaring motion briefly, then reported back to Vespera. Blue was calm and unconcerned, so Vespera figured they were just other civilians on the road. She continued down the path.
