Phoenix looked at the stranger and said with her voice drenched in sarcasm, "Nothing's wrong here."

(I think forest is a griffin, Shard is a wolf)

Kaliyah heard an unknown voice and came outside, her bow loaded. “Who are you?” She growled

Will whistled a command to Forest so he would calm down and slowly pulled out his sword.

“Answer me!” Kaliyah growled

Phoenix stood there, like a person on crutches. Because she was one.

Seeing as the person was answering, nor was he harming them, she rode back to the blacksmiths to get her arrowheads

Phoenix still had a guard up, no answer meant less information. Less information, meant no plan.

Jason put his hands up in surrender, eyes wide. "Jason. Just…a worried passerby. My cat just ran off, and I was chasing him when I saw you." Dang it, I got distracted again, didn't I? he thought. "Look, I don't mean any harm. Again, I was trying to catch my cat, saw you, and got worried."

Phoenix narrowed her eyes, "Well everything's fine. So you can leave, Jason."

Jason lifted a brow. "I…never told you my name," he said. Unless this girl had mind reading magic on her side. What did I just get myself into?

“Yes you did you bafoon,” Phoenix stared at him strangely, “It was the first thing you said.”

Jacob stopped to catch his breath, putting his hands on his knees. He noticed that there were a couple of people nearby. One of them looked like he was on the verge of crying. Maybe he already was, Jacob couldn't tell. Knowing it wasn't any of his business but wanting to help out, Jacob walked over to him. "Hey, is something wrong?" he asked.
