"Well i had my hood down low so no, i didnt see him." she said
(lol emi)
Phoenix rolled her eyes, "Typical."
she lightly shoved her "It is what it is." she said
Phoenix laughed lightly, "I suppose it is."
"there is something I think I should tell you both…" Will said looking down.
“What is it?” Kaliyah asked
"What do you want to tell us?" Phoenix asked. She had a bad feeling.
"The Moon kingdom has fallen." He whispered.
"No…" Phoenix barely whispered. That would mean, "I'm so sorry Will."
Kaliyah looked at him in shock “will…” she breathed “I’m so sorry.” She said
Will got up and went outside.
Jacob straightened up, placing his hands on his hips. "Well, guys, I guess we'll need to find a place to stay for the night while we're waiting on my hatchet, huh?!" The rhetorical 'huh' turned into a confused one as Nat seemed to see a butterfly or some other insect and raced after it. Somehow, the feline could refrain from chasing Pebble, but Jacob had come to learn that anything else was fair game if Nat felt like trying to snag something. "Oookay, I guess we're playing tag instead," Jacob muttered, rolling his eyes but grinning in a 'this is inconvenient, but what are you gonna do?' fashion, already running after his cat.
One thing that you learn from living with cats is that they're hard to catch when they want to be. A few minutes of running later, and Jacob was chasing Nat through a yard in front of a cabin. "Nat!" he whisper-shouted, "Just let the damn fly go!"
(OOC: The cabin that he ran in front of was Kaliyah's cabin, btw)
Phoenix carefully got up and followed after him. She wasn't just saying sorry for the fact eh lost his parents, it was more than that. It was the fact that her slowness caused it. It was the gnawing guilt that told her this was all her fault.
Will stood outside petting Forest a bit.
"Um hey Will," Phoenix said quietly.
Will turned and looked "yeah?"
(OOC: The cabin that he ran in front of was Kaliyah's cabin, btw)
(Technically he wouldn’t be able to see it because it’s enchanted but maybe you see will and Phoenix outside?)
Kaliyah cleaned up and stood against the wall. “All my fault.” She muttered
Phoenix hadn't thought about what she would say. So she said simply, "If you ever want to take back Moon, I'll help in whatever way I can. It's mainly my fault this happened anyway. The blame is on me here."
"I don't think I am ready…" He said softly.
"I never said it had to be right this instant," Phoenix responded quietly, "Just whenever you are."
"yeah… Sure…."
(OOC: Alright, thanks)
Jacob stopped to catch his breath, putting his hands on his knees. He noticed that there were a couple of people nearby. One of them looked like he was on the verge of crying. Maybe he already was, Jacob couldn't tell. Knowing it wasn't any of his business but wanting to help out, Jacob walked over to him. "Hey, is something wrong?" he asked.
He noticed a person approach and instantly Forest stepped forward and growled low in his throat and got near the stranger.
