He nodded then looked at Kaliyah, "I can ride Forest." he said then got on the giffin's back.

“I have a med kit you can use.”

Phoenix nodded slowly clambering onto Shard, “After we do this. Then I’ll treat it.”

“Alright.” Kaliyah said. “Come Shard, follow.” She said and started riding toward the sun kingdom

Will whistled for Forest to follow them both.

Phoenix held onto the wolf. Her scythe was rested on her back. She was doing this for her kingdom, for peace. She was no traitor… right?

Kaliyah kept thinking about all the families who would receive bad news, all those knights without any family. This made her filled with a fire “HYAH!” She kept making her horse go faster and faster

Forest ended up having to fly to keep up with the two others.
Will wondered how many were dead or how many were alive.

Phoenix urged Shard to go as fast as the wolf could. They needed to get there before any citizens died. Why would Moon do this? Sun may be a more militaristic country, but they never actively put innocent people into harms way.

Will looked around from his view in the sky. He only saw clouds, it was too foggy to see much of anything.

They reached the kingdom just as the Moons army could be seen over the cliff “Will! You need to convince them that the plan has been changed and they need to get back to the kingdom! Phoenix, we need to try and convince your sister to stop attacking!” Kaliyah yelled

Phienix yelled back to Kaliyah, "Easier said than done! Come on Shard to the palace!" She directed the large wolf to the palace.

They made their way to the palace

Will flew over to the army on the hill.

The gates opened up for the princess and her companion. Phoenix hopped off and limped to the throne room despite the multiple attendants attempting to help her.

Kaliyah followed behind

Will walked over to the general and tried to explain to him and reason to him.

Phoenix walked up to her sister. She demanded, "Call off the attack."

Her sister looked almost identical to Phoenix, but she had violet eyes and dark brown hair, "You're injured. Let the nurses treat you."

Phoenix took a step closer, "I said call them off."

"…I can't do that," Queen Jade responded, "They started in with the arrow. Have you no will to get back at them for our parents death?"

"No, because you are a full being played on puppet strings," Phoenix's eyes narrowed, "It was not Moon whom killed our parents."

"Are you suggesting?"

"Call the soldiers off and I will tell all I know. Our people need not more bloodshed."

Will pushed though the soldiers and got to their general. The soldiers around him were whispering to each other wondering why the prince was there. "You must not engage this attack."
"Have the plans changed?"
"Um. Of course"
"They wouldn't send you if they did."
"Just stop this attack."
"No can do princey"
"You have to listen." Will yelled at the general before the general pushed him down to the ground.
"Now you listen here princey. You have no right to stop our attack. You are also in no position to call off this attack. You may be a prince but you are not the boss."
Will glared at him and stood. But got pushed down again.

Kaliyah looked around the room with worried eyes

Jade let out a small sigh as she turned to one of the servants in the room, "Send a message to the front lines. They are to retreat."

"But your majesty!" the remaining general called out, "That makes no sense."

Phoenix smirked a little, "You heard her orders. The queen's word is law."

Will got up and shoved the general. "You will listen to me. Call off this attack. It is suicide!"
"You don't know anything about war."
"No I may not but I know about the chance of everyone making it back."
"Princey go back to your castle now."
Will pulled out his sword and pointed it at the general. "Stand down now."
"Is this a threat?"
"I said stand down." He yelled
"You are a coward and a traitor."
"I don't care! Now listen to your orders." Will said to him a bit more calm as he slowly lowered his sword.
"Why listen to your orders?"
The general yelled it at him then hit him with his own sword quickly in the chest.
Will was knocked back for a second the put his sword to the general's neck. "You are the traitor and I won't hesitate to tell the king. Now call off your attack."
"Fine." He agreed not wanting to be told on to the king. "Hold your positions the attack has been called off" he yelled.
The soldiers slowly passed down the word.
Will nodded to the general and pushed back through the crowd.

Kaliyah sighed “well our side has been settled let’s hope wil did his job.”

Will collapsed onto Forest and had him fly over near the castle but made sure to stay out of sight. he waited on the side of the castle behind a bush, still on Forest.
