Shane snapped her head to look at Verspera and scrambled over. “Are you okay, Vespera?”
Shane snapped her head to look at Verspera and scrambled over. “Are you okay, Vespera?”
Aalexi stared down at the girl that had just fell into the clearing. I could fix those for her. She thought, looking at the rips in her clothes.
"Yeah," Vespera said, taking Phoenix's hand and standing up, "Are you? You got thrown too."
Shane scrambled up on her own. Her legs shook below her but she nodded, sending more hair to slop out of the sides of her beanie-like hat.
“I’m alright. It’s good you’re okay…”
Phoenix let go and took a step back. Of course the braces didn't like that and she ended up on her butt. With a sigh she slowly stood back up. She looked over to Robin, "Looks like we got a party going on here."
"Ah! I'm sorry!" Vespera cried when Phoenix fell. She went to assist her, but Phoenix was already back up. Vespera was huffing and angry; she had just lost a second horse, along with most of her remaining wares- but at least she had managed to grab the money she had made and the jewelry she was trying to sell.
(Hello)
"Oh no your fine!" Phoenix responded, "I fall all the time."
Shane stepped forward with Vespera, looking worried and concerned for both, Vesp and Phoenix.
“Are you sure you’re okay? That looked like quite a fall!”
Aalexi watched the interaction from her place in the tree. They don’t seem that bad. She thought.
(Hi!)
Vespera sighed, "But still."
She chewed on her lip a little and turned to Shane.
"Yeah, I think I was hurt worse being dragged through the trees. It just scared me, is all. And I lost more of my stuff, but I'm okay, so that's more important."
Shane looked at Vespera intently. “I got a good majority of your crates over there, though.” She smiled. “You didn’t loose it all.”
"Oh, thank you," Vespera replied, feeling relieved. She wiped a little sweat from her forehead. It stung as is dripped into a couple of the cuts from the tree branches, but she had been through worse. This was fine.
Shane studied Vespera’s face carefully. “Are you sure you’re okay? I have a few bandages in my sachel if you want those patched.”
"It's not bad. I'll take care of them when I get home," Vespera said, laughing a little to lighten the mood. She tightened her ponytail a little bit, then leaned over to pick up her two bags.
Aalexi gained some courage and dropped down from the tree, walking over to them. "I can fix those if you like." She offered, pointing to the rips and tears in her clothes.
Shane glanced down at her cloak, which only had a few tears. She felt a rush of gratitude towards Rey’s craftsmanship and smiled at Aalexi.
“I bet Vespera would appreciate that. Right?” She asked, turing to her.
"Oh, it's okay. My mom knows how to fix clothes, and she taught me a few tricks of the trade," Vespera replied.
The truth was, the more people that helped her, the more people she would be indebted to. That's the way she was taught the world worked.
Will just watched them all interacting with each other.
"If you insist.." She said quietly still eyeing the damage.
Vespera was starting to feel a little nervous. What were all these people doing here? And why did people keep offering her help? Did they want something? She held one bag to cover up her back, and the other was slung over her shoulder. She drew them in a little closer to her body.
(Oof. I have to leave. I'll be back in ~2 hours)
Aalexi noticed her nervousness and took a step back. "I'm sorry. I wasn't..I'm just used to helping people."
Phoenix walked towards Robin cause he looked a little out of sorts. Maybe she could get his real name out of him. She waved her hand to Vespa, “Like I said happens all the time.”
Will looked down. Wow there were a lot of people here he thought the only time he saw this many people was at meetings.
