"How long have you been head blacksmith?" Cassidy asked trying to make conversation

"Not very long. Since father died," Rey added hazily, peeling a potato.

"Oh I'm sorry" She replied with a small sigh "Do you need any help?" Cas asked

"I have a second peeler in the cabinet right there if you want to peel these for me." He pointed to the cabinet below the sink.

"Never really get cold, and I'm not hungry at the moment," Phoenix responded. She figured Kaliyah was just trying to impress her, or sway her in some way. People always were.

She shrugged “well I am so I’m going to make something for me to eat.” She always carried her pack with her. It had extra food, rope, a compass, a knife, 2 pans, 2 small wooden bowls, daggers, some flint and steel, a tarp, a portable bed, and some spare arrowheads. She collected some sticks and other materials and started a fire. She continued adding to it until it was a good size. She searched until she found some sticks and created a makeshift spit. She took out one of the rabbits and roasted it.

"I have a second peeler in the cabinet right there if you want to peel these for me." He pointed to the cabinet below the sink.

(Maybe they should run out of supplies and go to collect some but get lost?)

Cassidy nodded and pulled the peeler out of the cabinet and started peeling a potato

Phoenix watched her and slowly got off of Axel. She sat down on the forest floor and studied her broken crutch. She reached into her bag, because gods be damned if she forgot her bag, and pulled out two strange metal devices. Strange to everyone else, but not to her. They were her 'highly' 'experimental' leg braces. She placed the leather cord that kept each brace together on the bottom of her foot and strapped them to her legs. By what would be her joint was a series of springs, to help her actual move and stuff. As to why she didn't use it in the ditch, if she messed up no one would be there to help her out. Like she thought there was help in the first place.

Cassidy nodded and pulled the peeler out of the cabinet and started peeling a potato

Rey gave a tiny nod. "Thanks. Now, where are you from, Cas?"

(Yeah but Bec went to sleep and we need to get this story progressing lol)

A few minutes later a delicious smell arose from the roasting meat. Kaliyah hung a bucket on the spit and added some clean water from her water pack. She used some of the food supplies in her pack to make a veggie stew alongside the meat

Phoenix got them on so they were snug. She slowly tried to stand up, it worked. She was successfully standing without a crutch. She was beaming.

“What are those?” Kaliyah asked, gesturing to the metal things around her legs

“These?” Phoenix pointed to the braces, “There a metal brace that allows me to walk and manuerve without crutches. I call them leg braces.”

"Well I kind of travelled around a lot, I was originally in Earth but I'm getting citizenship here since I couldn't find work in Earth" She explained

“Are they specially made?” She asked whilst stirring the pot

“Only one pair in the world,” Phoenix answred gingerly taking a step forward. Estatic to see that they really did work, even if it hurt a little.

The meal was done and Kaliyah spooned some out for herself. She carved a piece of rabbit and tossed it to axel who started eating it. “That’s amazing. You’re welcome to have some if you want.” She said gesturing to the pot

Phoenix was still slow, as she normally was once she had put them on. She walked over to the pot and took a spoonful. It felt wrong not to, “Thanks again.”

“Go on, eat your fill, I’ve made enough for 4 and I have an extra bowl.” She said gesturing to her pack

Phoenix laughed as she grabbed the bowl from the pack, “Will do ma’am.”

Kaliyah laughed. It’s been a while since she got to interact with a lady her age. Living in isolation was sometimes lonely n

"Fine…….. What do you want to know." Will asked slowly quickly regretting this.

"You won't tell me anything about you. Also I highly doubt Robin is your real name."

"For real my name is William. Will for short. And I live in the central Moon kingdom" he told her sighing as he did

“Why didn’t you tell me that in the first place?” She questioned him.

"Because a name like mine some people say holds power behind it." he told her and kept looking at the ground "it's stupid" Will muttered.

“Well is it true? I mean, are you powerful?” She asked curiously, wanting to know more about him.

"I guess some would say that…. I don't think I really am." he said sighing.
