Question, how do we know what kingdom we're in? Am I right to assume there are four kingdoms?

Background: Rather ordinary, but itching to get out and adventure, like in all the books he reads.
Personality: Cold, stoic, brooding, merciless, but oddly very caring. Sophisticated and always pertinent, gentlemsnly. Under all this, he will somewhat pretends to be altruistic, but has alterior ideas.
Appearance: Unruly black hair, rum-colored eyes, slightly pointy nose and chin. Kinda tall at 6'0", sinewy shoulders and hips.
Position: Librarian
Kingdom: Earth
Weapons: A longdagger, and a shortsword. Both are made of damascus steel and have dragons etched on the blade, with red wrapping around the handles.
Talents: Has outstanding intelligence, a good servant and scholar.
Pets: A black cat named Dragul.
House: Attached to his library. Palatial in nature.
Abilities: He's a human bestiary, and can morph parts of himself into those of strange animals like dragons. This savage power often contradicts his sophisticated nature.

Weapons: hand to hand combat and a little sword fighting
Talents: (mjr) Crafting things, mainly clothes. (mnr) Hand to hand combat, had some training when the war broke out just in case. (mnr) Can cook but hasn't had much practice.
Pets: Small white kitten that she keeps in the pocket of her skirt
