Lukie ran out of energy and relaxed against Jasper. “You’re comfy, you know.”

"Oh, thanks? That's a good quality to have." He tentatively put his hand on Lukie's head and started softly stroking his hair. It was as soft as it looked.

Lukie snuggled his nose under Jasper’s chin with a gentle sigh. He relaxedness completely into the other, comfortable as if he were laying on a bed.

Jasper smiled, taken aback by Lukie's sudden change in demeanor. "Hey, weren't you just asleep?" he asked softly.

“Yeah… but you’re comfy…” Lukie snuggled into Jasper’s warm neck.

Sleepy demon, Jasper thought, smiling. "Hey are you sure you don't want food?" he asked. "You seem to get a little scary when you're hungry.

Lukie wrapped himself around Jasper, resting his head on the other’s chest. “Mmmm… snuggles… so waaaarm…” He purred all of this incomprehensibly, snuggling closer to Jasper.

"Okay . . . " Jasper said hesitantly. "Guess we're cuddling now." His face was very, very hot.

Lukie pressed his nose against Jasper’s jaw, purring softly. Soon, he fell back asleep, curled around Jasper.

Jasper couldn't keep his smile off his face as he reached for his phone, careful not to disturb Lukie. He pet his hair with one hand and checked the time with his other. He had half an hour till he had to leave for school. Jasper looked down at Lukie then looked up at the ceiling. 'Is this what having a cat is like?' he wondered.

Lukie snored gently in his sleep. If Jasper wanted to go to school, he’s have to wake the sleeping Demon.

Twenty minutes later Jasper looked at his phone. "Uh, Lukie?" he poked the sleeping demon. "Time to wake up now, I have to go soon."

Lukie stirred, lifted his head, grunted and set it back down. “Noooo…”

"Lukiiiieeeeeee . . . " he whined back. "You can sleep when we get there, but right now I have to go. Deal?"

Lukie flailed on top of him for a moment. “nOooooo I wanna sleeeeeep!”

"Lukie, please. I promise you can sleep later, but please. All I'm asking you to do is move. You can even just roll over." he said, trying to reason with the demon.

Lukie made a cat-like growl in his voice and didn’t move. “I want to sleep noooowwwwwww!”

"Lukie," Jasper said. "Move. Please." He tried to see if he could shove him off of himself.

Lukie stiffened and applied his weight when he felt Jasper try an push him. He growled gently in response to his plea.

Jasper pulled his hands back. "Okay, okay." He looked around and turned his head to look up at his bed. "Look! Look at how comfy my bed looks. It's all nice and warm," he sang, scooting closer to the bed.

Lukie growled at Jasper’s movement. “NoooooOooOooOo you’re warmer! Stay!”

"Lukie I'm sorry, I can't. I have to change and go to school. I can't just not go. Besides, you're coming with me anyways."

Lukie growled softly and curled up on Jasper’s tummy. “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”
