"Ah! Lovely," Cat exclaimed sarcastically. She turned to Nadia. "There's got to be some way to fix it, right?"

"Unless one of you knows how to fix a broken engine, I think this car is done for." Nadia sighed, leaning back in her seat.

"Wow, thats annoying." Quinn commented as she got out of the car. Maybe there was someway to fix the engine or else all it was a bust.

"There's got to be some way to fix it," Cat said, putting one hand on the side of her forehead.

"There probably is some way, but we don't have the tools to fix it." Nadia responded, shaking her head. I should have taken that auto-mechanics class when I had the chance…

"So are we stranded then?" Cat asked, clutching her bag.

Nadia bit her lip, contemplating their choices. "Not necessarily. There could be an abandoned car nearby that we could steal. I have enough gasoline to fill up a minivan."
(ahh Notebook is being slow again)

"Do you have anything to store the gasoline in that's mobile? So we can take it with us?"

(yeahh)

She nodded. "Yeah, it's in this canteen thing in my emergency backpack. It's right behind your seat."

"Great." Cat grabbed the backpack and found the canteen. She started to get out of the car, then stopped. "I don't know how to extract gasoline from a car."

Nadia got out of the car and popped open the trunk. "I should have a siphon pump and a screwdriver back here. If I can find them it should be pretty easy."

"Lovely. Let me know if you need any help," she called, then turned in her chair so she was facing the backseat. "So. How are you doing?"

"Great, considering the car just broke down. And do we see another car around here?" Valerie commented.

Nadia took a brief second to look around. "I don't see any cars, but there's a gas station in the distance. It won't be that long of a walk." As she returned to look for a siphon pump, she saw something move around in the trees next to them. Nadia tensed up for a second, but then shook her head. There's nothing there. Stop being paranoid.

Val shook her head,"Well I'm not getting out of this car. Those woods are bad luck no matter how close the station is."
