"Hi," Cat said, acting relieved, still walking slowly towards her. "I won't hurt you, promise. See I'm not even armed." She raised her arms above her head and circled around. "Can I come closer?"

"You…You're not real…Are you?" Quinn whispered. She must be hallucinating, she hadn't seen another human in months, maybe even a year. Was she really that mentally unstable? The girl in front of her appeared to be what, 4 years older than her?

"No, no I am. Real as rain. Here, look." Cat carefully and slowly stretched her arm out towards the girl, not wanting to scare her off. She was much younger than Cat thought she would be, making her more harmless in Cat's eyes. And her fear seemed very real, and she didn't look to be reaching for any weapons. So far, so good.

Quinn hesitated before shakingly reaching out her hand when it touched, she flinched and yanked it back. She couldn't believe it, she was real, the girl was real and alive. Did that mean that there were others? More Humans? "Who are you?"

"Cat. Or Catriona James," she corrected herself, pulling her hand back. "You can just call me Cat though. What's your name?" she asked, making sure to keep her voice soft so as not to scare the girl.

"Carson…Quinn Carson." Quinn replied before asking "How many more are there?" She wasn't the only person alive anymore and there might be more.

"As far as I know, two. They're both in the car right now, waiting for me, and I know they would be excited to have a fourth person join us. What do you say?"

Quinn widened her eyes and hesitated. This town was her home for a very long time, she couldn't leave it, could she? But she had to survive this dead world even if it meant leaving everything behind. "Can I go get my stuff?"

"Of course," Cat said, tentatively putting an arm on her shoulder. "But if you are going to come with us, I should warn you, we haven't really got a clue where we're going. Do you need any help?" she asked. "Assuming I haven't scared you off?"

Quinn bite her lip, resisting the urge to jerk away from her touch. "No I'm good, and please don't touch me." Quinn replied as she put Cat's hand off her shoulder.

"Oh, sorry, sorry," Cat said, her eyes wide. "I'll just, wait over here, then," she said, going over to the car and leaning her head through the window of her car door. "She seems way too young to try and kill us all, and more scared than hostile. I say she's safe. She's getting her things now," Cat said to Nadia and Valerie.

Nadia nodded. "Sounds good. Hopefully we don't come across too many more people, because I'm running out of room here."

"I would say I don't foresee it but at the rate we have been finding people, it's entirely possible." Cat looked over to where Quinn had disappeared to, waiting.

Quinn dashed back to her hideout, her footsteps echoing the ally ways. She quickly unlocked the doors and grabbed her survival backpack, that came first. Then she started to scour the area, trying to decide what things to take. Of course, she took the cards and her pistols, but then her eyes landed on an old family picture. Dark thoughts rushed through her head as she took a look before she decided to leave it. Quinn didn't need a reminder of her past. Once she was done, Quinn retraced her steps to where Cat was waiting for her.

"Hi," she said to Quinn, standing up from the car. She opened one of the car doors for Quinn and got into her own seat. "Everyone, this is Quinn."

Nadia waved enthusiastically. "Hi Quinn! I'm Nadia, the owner of this beautiful crappy car."
(Okay guys, poll time. Should the car break down in the middle of nowhere, or should we introduce some sort of…undead creature…)

"Hey, another person. Nice to meet you Quinn," Valerie said with a slight smile.

"Hi." Quinn replied before she got in the car. Nothing really felt that different to her, except now there was actually another human company unless you counted the demons she would talk to at night.

"Welcome to the team." Nadia put her keys in the ignition and turned them to start the car, causing a small sputtering noise to come from the engine. "C'mon…not now…" She pushed on the gas petal and turned the keys again. "C'mon c'mon…"

Valerie groaned, "Is the car not starting?"

"No…no it's working don't worry…" Nadia grumbled, jamming the keys into the ignition. "Come on you lump of metal! Move!"

"Doesn't sound like it's working," Valerie stated, "The car seems to have broken down and we are now stuck."
