"It's infuriating, trust me." he said.
"It's infuriating, trust me." he said.
“I’m sure.” He smiles, “but hey, at least you have all the cool people down here instead of up there” he says with a slight chuckle
"No, most people down here are terrible. This is literally Hell, in case you forgot." Lucifer said dryly.
He shrugs, “Well, all the good people were never very good to me” he frowns and looks down towards the ground, “So terrible people don’t seem all that terrible to me”
"Murders, thieves, people who committed multiple acts of genocide, don't seem all that bad to you?" Lucifer asked flatly.
“Maybe the genocide,” he says and shrugs before laughing slightly, “no, of course they all seem bad to me, well maybe not thieves” he says quietly, “I’ve been known to steal like a candy bar from the store”
"Grand theft, dimwit." Lucifer said goofily.
He chuckles, “I’ve definitely stolen one of those 100 Grand bars before!” He feigns panic
"Oh, you know what I-why am I even arguing this inane point with you?" he ran his delicate hands through his luscious, extravagant, extremely well kept hair.
He smiles, “Maybe because you enjoy talking with me” he says with a small laugh
"Well, I don't have many people to talk to. Not anyone who would bring any conversational value, anyways. I think this is the first real conversation I've had in… it can't have been more than a few thousand years." Lucifer shrugged.
“Do you enjoy the silence?” Simon asks, looking at him curiously, “Well not the silence, it’s quite noisy down here. But the…lack of conversations?”
"… No." Lucifer admitted.
“Hm, I say I enjoy silence but…after several thousands of years I’m sure the silence is deafening..” he says, glancing up and then looking back down at the floor
"More than that. It hollows you." he bowed his head. Then, his head snapped up again. "Well then, plenty of work to get to. Let's not dawdle." he smiled slightly.
“Of course” He says and smiles back, in the pit of his stomach he felt bad for the man, but he decided not to say anything because he didn’t wish to offend him.
"You know what, I'm feeling too lazy to do anything. I'll just order one of my Overseers to do it and then do nothing the rest of the day." Lucifer sighed.
He smiles, “That sounds like a good plan”
"I suppose." Lucifer mused.
“More time to get to know each other better..” he pauses, “or for me to know you, I’m sure you already know a lot about me.”
"Oh, no, I don't know much anything of you than what you told me from our previous meetings, before you… died." Lucifer said.
“Oh really?” He tilts his head, “I figured you had some sort of omnipresent powers…being Lucifer and all”
"No, that's God, she needs them more. I don't really rely on things like that, although I could use those powers if I wanted." Lucifer said flatly.
“Ah, I see,” he pauses and then smiles at him, his smile being slightly lopsided, “Well, the name’s Simon O’Camp, most people call me Si, I was eighteen, died much too young, ever so tragically” he says with a slight bitter laugh, “not much else to know about me”
"And how did you die, then?" Lucifer asked.
