Angelo's breathing was a bit labored, and his head hurt bad, but he knew Habiki was there. He contentedly felt himself drift further off

Habiki fell asleep soonly after.

The next day, when morning shone lightly through the windows in Angelo's room, a nurse came in to check on his vitals. She blushed slightly at the sight of Habiki, and tried her best to read the stats without waking him

Habiki had infact woken but didn't dare show it. If anything he hugged just a little tighter to the other

The nurse noticed this, then started to change the liquids in Angelo's IV. "Would you like some breakfast, sir?" She asked Habiki. "Angelo should be coming off the anesthetics soon."

" n..no I'm fine, " he said softly.

The nurse nodded, then left the room

after a short while, Angelo's breathing became deeper as he started to shift slightly

habiki looked up " a..angelo?"

Angelo mumbled something softly, the tether between them growing stronger

habikis overwhelming happy emotion surged through him ' your awake!" he said happily.

Angelo's eyes opened slightly as he looked around the room. A few doctors entered
"Where the fuck… holy shi-" he rasped

habiki sat up, tears streaming down his eyes.

The doctors tended to the machinery, checking vitals and keeping the breathing mask on Angelo.

The Alpha looked up at Habiki, closing his eyes as he sighed with relief. Thank god…

habiki put his forehead on the others. he was sobbing helplessly.

Angelo sighed, moving his hand with labored movements to meet Habiki's face.
Where… am I? What the hell is going on? I feel like I'm choking on a dick or something…
He moved his hand to his neck, smiling slightly

habiki chuckles theres a breathing tube in your neck, your in a hospital, and you just woke from a coma.. " i think he wants the tube out.." habiki said softly

Angelo closed his eyes again, leaning back. Oh god…

One of the nurses nodded. "We'll have to keep the mask on while the morphine wears off, but we can take that out."

habiki nodded and moved to let them have room you had me so scared..

Angelo winced as they took the tube out, leaving him gasping. Im sorry, mi amor

habiki took angelos hand in his. dont blame yourself..

Angelo gave it a soft squeeze. But… But I left you here

habiki nodded to the nurses as they left and crawled back in bed with the other. "but you came back. thats what matters.."

Angelo nodded, closing his eyes again as he leaned into Habiki. What about… practice?

" max knows, hes supose to come get me tomorrow," he said and snuggled the other.

Angelo nodded, leaning his head on Habiki. He's really a good guy. I'm glad he finally started warming up to you.
