"You might think it's a simple party trick. It's not." Oliver began, swiping his hand over Thanatos' card, transforming it into a joker. "Cards are able to do certain things. Reveal themselves. Reveal people. Or reveal reality." He explained as he stood up, walking across the table and nudging teacups away from his path. He shuffled the deck once again, keeping the Joker in his opposite hand.
"I spy the sons and daughters of fairytale characters." Oliver finally said, his voice using a sing-song tone. He threw the Joker card towards the ground, and shadowy figures of people sprouted. "See, Joker's are able to be whatever they want. They can even become the people who don't want to be revealed!"
Everyone must have thought that he was crazy, but ever since he was young, he could see two realities. Wonderland and something. . . different. Revealing these people seemed important to him.
A whisper spoke up from the card, and Oliver tilted his head to the side in amusement.
Atheia Night, the daughter of the Dark Fairy.
Cade and Chelsea Cheshire, children of the Cheshire Cat.
Alexina Gillings, daughter of Peter Pan.
Madelyn Carter, daughter of the Mad Hatter.
Samine Samudrala, daughter of the Genie.
Susan Death, daughter of Death.
Oliver shrugged when he received stares. This was the cards speaking. They knew. Not him.
(Could this be the part when they get the baskets.)
(@NessieTheMonster they get the baskets when they go home and their parents arent there)
(@KittyBurrito yes but you will be introduced later on)
Thanatos grinned at Oliver's speech, now this was more like it. "And who does your card believe me to be" He questioned.
( K. Then they're just going to be introduced to one another here. )
( I guess this is when they realize something is a little off)
Altheia looked as the green-eyed boy smirked mischievously. al others names were revealed but not his own. grinning slightly, she walked up to the boy, stopping once he could see her."In a land without names what good does it do revealing ours but not your own?" she asked him, twirling a feather in mid-air

"Oh, let me see." Oliver grinned, pausing and shuffling through his deck of cards. He finally settled on one and swept his hand over it.
He turned the cards towards the young man and showed him the crimson red inscription.
Thanatos, son of Hades.
"The cards say you're important too," Oliver exclaimed, dropping down and sitting on the edge of the table.
"So Master of the Cards, do you plan on revealing your name?"
Altheia looked as the green-eyed boy smirked mischievously. al others names were revealed but not his own. grinning slightly, she walked up to the boy, stopping once he could see her."In a land without names what good does it do revealing ours but not your own?" she asked him, twirling a feather in mid-air
"My name isn't important, sweetheart. It's what I can do." Oliver explained, leaning forward and studying the girl. She's pretty. A small voice in his mind said. Shut up. "But, if you insist. Most people call me Joker, Jester, or something along those lines."
I prefer to call him fool, Maddie thought to her wile sitting on the edge of the stage.

"So what happens next Jester" Thanatos questioned.

Oliver looked down at his cards and frowned. They weren't moving. Almost as if they were stuck. "I don't know. That's all they want to tell me."

"Seems to as if the cards are telling you to give another the stage," Altheia responds as she stands on the stage, the feather still twirling.
Oliver raised a brow, but his mischievous grin remained as he tucked his cards back into the box. "It's all yours, sweetheart." He sighed, winking at Altheia as he walked back towards Maddie, plopping down next to her. He grabbed a teacup next to his hand as he returned the hat to the top of her head.
Maddie's eyes went wide, she was going to try and take the stage from Oli, She shook her head when he did give it up. I don't think I've ever seen Oli hand over the stage, or in this case table before. When he sat down next to her. She readjusted her hat, "At least ask next time."
"Why so grim, Maddie?" Oliver asked, nudging her playfully. He couldn't remember a time when he didn't see her smiling or making jokes.
"So what do you have to show us Altheia"
"You took my hat, when you have a perfectly good one at home, that is more suited to your style," she rolled her eyes and straitened the large bow in the back, "After all this one is rather girly." She smiled and elbowed him, "You looked incredibly silly wearing it."
"Ah, too bad. I thought that I looked rather handsome in it." Oliver replied, smirking as he slung an arm around Maddie's shoulders. "I'm trying to impress the ladies. . . but I don't think it's going too well." He added on, chuckling lightly as he motioned towards the crowd around the table.
"Well you are getting out shined by a complete stranger," she pointed out, "and they might be more impressed if you dress more like a gentleman."
//So what is going to happen next in the story
Altheia looked towards Oliver and suddenly felt nervous, the feather wobbled. "Ahem— Ladies and Gentlemen, and Oliver, card tricks are simple but a magic trick is not." she dropped the feather and pushed her hands out "from the sky come doves from the land come dogs, a wisp of magic appears like a fog." she uses her magic to lift the hat off Maddie s head and turns it upside down.
"Look at this hat, empty on the inside. But look at the stage, empty on the outside," she says appearing behind Alex.
(The hat is on Maddie's head now)
