Aurelius fumbled around to catch the rag.
“Yeah, sure! No problem.”
He smiled at her and started working to wipe the dust off of the kitchen table and chairs.

"How old is this house? It seems like nobody's lived here for years. She ran her rag down one of the doors exposing how beautiful it truly is. "What's you story?" She whispered and continued to clean.
“Most of these houses are older than I am,” Aurelius said, “The last person who lived here was one of our fighters-for-hire, but he’s been dead for years now.”
He gave a long pause before saying, “You really want to know my story?”
"I've always liked a good story." She moved across the floor to the couch and sat. Legs and arms crossed and a smile on her face. "So start from the beginning."
“I wouldn’t say it’s a good story, but it is a story,” he replied.
Aurelius sat down in one of the chairs he had cleaned.
“I was born here to Cassia Runesong. She was a writer and also worked at the library. My father, Drusus, was a hunter. Growing up, I was kind of small, and I never learned to be a great fighter, even though I really tried. But I was really good with dragons, so I was trained to take care of them.”
(Oof, what has happened?)
(I kinda forgot about this, sorry.)
"Hm, I wish I had your life." Mara laughed and sat next to him. "How did you meet your dragon?" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity. If she didn't know something, then she wanted to learn. That included people. Being locked up since a child made her not have much personal space.
(I have no idea what I was doing.)
(Same lol)
(Idk, I think Shade’s character was with Valkyrie in the blacksmiths shop still, and Stark’s character was leaving to go somewhere from the blacksmith or maybe still there with them?)

“I grew up with Nox. She was my mother’s dragon, and my mum hatched her from an egg that was abandoned in the woods by some hunted dragons,” Aurelius explained, “We’re almost like siblings.”
Robin touched Isolde's nose and watched her perk up at the sign of a threat. She laughed and started to make her way towards the market to gather things for her medicines. After paying for the last item, she made her way to the edge of town where a beautiful field of wildflowers was.
"For me, I never wanted to be a dragon trainer. They were basically dead the day they were born. It was unfair." Mara was glad she escaped. Hopefully now she could start a new life. Looking to the left, Mara saw Riven sleeping on the ground. He really was beautiful. "Um, don't you think Riven's wings are a bit small. Will they grow out?"
“Can he fly?” Aurelius asked softly, “He looks mostly mature at this point. Then again, he’s pretty different from the local dragons.”
"I mean, I'm not sure." She looked over at Riven. It was true he wasn't normal, but was there anything special about him? Was he going to be a burden to her. She sighed and laid her head on her hand. "Sorry, I'm not usually down."
“That’s okay,” Aurelius soothed, “I’m sure we’ll learn more about him in time. He seems quite unusual. In fact, he looks pretty fast with those legs of his. Do you know if he can run quickly?”
Aurelius took a deep breath. “Seriously, don’t ever worry about your emotions around me. I don’t judge, and you’re not going to bring me down.”
"Hm, seeing as I just met Riven today. I'm not sure what he can do." Mara put her hand down and began stroking the dragons head. She had to admit, he was quite beautiful. "If he can't fly, do you think Nox would mind taking me on a ride once?" Mara had always wanted to fly.
“Of course not. She’s about as friendly as they come, and probably wouldn’t mind you riding more than just the once,” Aurelius replied.
Nox let out a happy little rumble.
“Of course you can, dear!”
Quincy had continued her rounds in the marketplace. Doing odd jobs and gathering requests for the next day.
James walked up to one of the houses, figuring since he hadn't been kicked out yet this wouldn't be of that much harm, and knocked on the door. He just needed to know if Quincy was here or not so he could move onto the next town.
Robin sighed as Isolde jumped off her shoulders, stretched, and grew to her full size. "Did you sleep well?" She chuckled. Isolde huffed 'it would have been better if a certain someone didnt breath so heavily'
Aurelius looked over his shoulder when he heard a knocking at the door. Who could this be? No one had lived at this house for a while, after all.
He walked towards the door and cautiously went to open it.
James gave the man on the other side a small wave. He hadn't fully thought this through, but he got his point across in the first words, "Uh hello. I'm looking for my younger sister and I was wondering if she lived in this village. Her name's Quincy and looks pretty similar to myself."
Aurelius eyed him suspiciously. “How did you find this place?”
He wasn’t going to answer any questions yet. Sure, the guy looked similar to Quincy, but Aurelius felt strangely about the whole situation.
Mara stood from where she was sitting and walked over to the door to see who it was. Peeking around Aurelius, she saw a boy. His sister? Mara wished she could help but since she just moved here, it would be impossible.
"I'm a dragon rider myself," James pointed back to River who was almost asleep, "I scout around trying to find villages in order to redirect any people attempting to hunt dragons away from them. It's freelance work more than anything."
