Valkyrie nodded. "Yeah, there's plenty of stuff for that. A saddle with a place to grip, or a saddle and reins would do nicely. You might want to talk to a leatherworker for that stuff, though. I'll be happy to try crafting you weapons or armor, though."

"Alright. I'll have to go there then is it possible to create a pair of cuffs that are able to expand into a fan of metal blades?" She asked

"I think I've seen something like that before, but seeing that I'm just the apprentice, I can't do that myself yet. My boss just trusts me with the simpler tasks. Take it up with him if you want," Valkyrie suggested, "Might cost you a good bit to have a fancy weapon like that, but if you're willing, knock yourself out."

"Well, thanks for the information. I have to go to the leatherman." She said and waved

"Good luck," Valkyrie said dully, returning most of her attention to work.
"So, how goes it, Quincy? Work treating you well?"

"Yeah," Quincy responded, "A bit tiring if anything. Can't remember the last time I got actual sleep."

Valkyrie laughed. "About the same over here. I'm still just an apprentice and Marcellus makes me do all his dirty work. Even after I work all day, he makes me clean the forge. Usually goes well into nighttime. Then of course, there's still patrol. But you have that too, don't you?"
Valkyrie held up the blade. It was straight, but a little oddly-shaped around the edges. She waited a minute for it to cool some, then stuck it in a bucket of water to harden more.

"Of course I do," Quincy responded mocking offense to the question, "I have so much work to do. I decided to get the biggest thing done first so I could recover faster."

"That's probably a good way to do it," Valkyrie replied, putting down her hammer, "Gods, I can't believe some people have the nerve to complain about work, when we're some of the hardest working ones out here. It's better than my old job, of course, but it's still a pain."

“I know,” Quincy exclaimed, “Let them try to live a day in our shoes.”

Valkyrie cleared her throat, muttered Aurelius' name somewhere in there, then picked up the sword, running her hand over its length and taking it to the grindstone.

Robin walked out over to the leatherman. Telling him what she wanted, she left and picked up her dagger. She frowned at the sight of the dull edges and sighed, walking back to the Smith's. "You do sharpen and polish knives right?" She asked Valkyrie.

One of the girls looked up at Aurelius and Mara. "Aurelius, hello. Who is this?" Mara thought she must look weird. "Ah, I'm Mara and I'm here to dye my hair." The young girls eyes lit up. She always enjoyed doing that instead of dying clothes. "Come sit." Mars looked to Aurelius before walking over. "I can come looking for you when this is over, so you don't have to stay with me.
(I might not be on much this weekend, just warning you.)

(Yeah, same. Finals week is coming up for me, so the next week in general.)
Aurelius sat down. "No, that's okay. I don't have work today, and I want to make sure you're safe, at least until we get everything sorted out. Actually, you know what? I can buy you some clothes maybe so you don't have to walk around in mine. It's up to you, really. Anything else I can do to help out?"

Robin walked out over to the leatherman. Telling him what she wanted, she left and picked up her dagger. She frowned at the sight of the dull edges and sighed, walking back to the Smith's. "You do sharpen and polish knives right?" She asked Valkyrie.

"Come, sit." Taking Mara's hand and shoved her in a chair. "My names Kila. What can I do for you?" A bit shocked and confused, it took a few seconds for Mara to answer. "In Mara and I want my hair white."
"White? I mean, okay." Kila took some bleach and leand Mara's head back so that it wouldn't get on her skin. After a while and almost falling asleep because it was so relaxing, Kila was done. "And here you go." Kila Spun the chair and Mara looked in the mirror. And for a second she almost confused herself as her sister. It made her feel emotions she didn't want to feel right now. "So, Aurelius, how do I look?"
