Quincy was making her way to the blacksmith, Jade's bags were filled with metal. She spotted another girl and her walking towards the blacksmith. Quincy made her way towards them, "Hey. What's your name?"
Quincy was making her way to the blacksmith, Jade's bags were filled with metal. She spotted another girl and her walking towards the blacksmith. Quincy made her way towards them, "Hey. What's your name?"
"Who me?" Robin asked "I'm Robin, this is Isolde." She said gwsturnind to the reptile beside her. Isolde bowed her head in greeting and shrunk, climbing up Robin's leg and laying across her shoulders "what the…?!" Robin yelped. 'I guess I forgot to mention I could change sizes.' Isolde laughed
Quincy laughed and held out a hand for Robin, "I'm Quincy and this is Jade. Are you new in town?"
James had spotted a village while he was flying. He and River had landed a little while away, just in case this village didn't take kindly to dragons. He looked up at River, "Well, what do you think about this one?"
"It has no greater chance than the last one James," River responded with a snort, "But I do have a good feeling."
"Let's go then," James nodded walking off towards the village entrance.
"Alright." She looked around and the first thing that caught her eyes were the library. It was huge and she couldn't wait to explore it. But first, she needed new clothes, these were making her cold.
"Follow me," Aurelius said, leading Mara towards his own home so she could at least dry off and borrow some clothes.
Nox kept guard nearby, watching out for anyone she didn't know.
Riven stayed with Nox, he wanted to help in anyway that he could. "Your place is nice." It was… small, but cute. "Um, where's the bathroom?" Her wet clothes had started to smell and she wanted out of them.
Aurelius led her into the bathroom and handed her a towel.
"I'll bring you some dry clothes, too, and leave them outside the door. Sorry if they don't fit, but it's all I can do at the moment."
"Thank you." She shut the door and began to strip. It was hard to take off due to it sticking to her body, but she managed somehow. Taking the towel she dried off. The clothes appeared from under the door. The pants didn't fit at all, but the shirt, it was like a dress. Rummaging through her old clothes she pulled a white string and tied it around her waist. "That's better. I'm done." Walking out she was a bit embarrassed since she's never been dressed like this but it was better than being cold and wet.
"Good. We can get you something else to wear later. This'll just have to do for now. Sorry… Now, what was it you wanted? To dye your hair?" Aurelius asked.
"Ah, yes. White please." It felt weird asking for this, but it needed to happen. "Where am I going to stay? I don't have any money on me." As she walked out the door she patted Riven's neck. Mara felt that she was to harsh on him. He was a beautiful dragon, and she didn't hate him. A lot was on her mind.
"We can probably get you housing soon," Aurelius promised, "but in the meantime, you can stay with someone here. I'm sure anyone would be willing, including myself, but I don't really have anywhere else to sleep except for a sofa."
Quincy laughed and held out a hand for Robin, "I'm Quincy and this is Jade. Are you new in town?"
"Not necessarily I live on the outskirts, near the edge of the forest. I have a shop here where I sell handmade products and sometimes handmade treats. Do you work here?"
“Something like that,” Qunicy shrugged continuing her way to the blacksmith, “I make some of the metal for the black smith. Well most of it.”
"Mind making something for me? I've been flying with Isolde but I keep pulling her horns. Is there something g I can use without constraining her?" Robin asked
"You mean like a lead?" Quincy asked walking back to Jade to fish out some of her rope.
"Something like that but not of rope." Robin asked. 'what are you planning little bird?' Isolde asked. Robin smiled and rubbed her head "you will see."
"Then what do you want it made out of?" Quincy asked holding the rope with both hands. Jade began to reprimand her, "You're already exhausted enough as it is. You don't need to do this."
"Is it possible to have one created out of a soft metal? Something I can hook and unhook without having to touch it." Robin explained
(Kinda like hiccups from HTTYD)
"That's out of my skill level," Quincy sighed putting the rope away, "You'll have to talk to the actual blacksmiths."
"Oh, alright. If it's not possible, would a leather harness work?" She asked. Then she paused "sorry for seeming a little odd, I've never had a dragon." She said sheepishly
"No it's fine," Quincy laughed, "You're just asking the wrong person. I'm the local alchemist."
"I'm just hoping someone will take a stranger in. You all seem like a extremely cautious people." Entering a building, Mara had to cover her nose. The overwhelming smell of chemicals filled the air. "Is this the place?" From the smell it had to be, but it didn't hurt to ask. Her heart raced with fear, but mostly excitement.
"Aah, so our field of work overlaps then. Who would I ask about this stuff?" Robin asked
Nearby, Cerulean and Armageddon had stopped on a hill overlooking the village. To their surprise, this village was filled to the brim with dragons. 'this is wonderful Lian, more dragons whose spiritual energy we can consume.' Armageddon spoke
"The blacksmith," Quincy responded continuing her walk, "They specialize in all types of dragon equipment."
James entered the town to find it chalked full of dragons and their riders. Oh please tell him Quincy was here.
"Where might they be? Are they here or not yet?" Robin asked. Isolde bit her ear slightly and her throat rumbled 'We should get food.' she said in a musical voice. Robin rubbed her ear and frowned "fine." She muttered
"They should be in," Quincy sighed walking up to the shop, "They normally are at this point."
