Personality- ISFP, Chaotic good, Introverted but really loves spending time with his few good friends, Kind and generous with his time and effort, Book-smart and attentive to detail, but sometimes seems to lack some amount of common sense, Deep thinker, but when it comes to acting, he acts on impulse more than he should, Intuitive, usually has good hunches but is trash at acting on them, Bottles up feelings, but his feelings are intense. Anger is terrifying.
Dragon's name, appearance, personality- Nox, female: Midnight black dragon with dark purple eyes, lithe and lean, large wingspan, very cool under pressure, but feisty, former rider was Aurelius' mother, Cassia, shadow dragon
Background- Born to parents within the Dragon riders' order. His mother was a librarian and a writer. His father was a prominent city guard and a hunter. One day, when Aurelius was about 12, his parents went into battle as fighters-for-hire (they had no choice), and only his mother's dragon, Nox, came back. He grieved for a long time, sank into a depression for about five years or so, still has lasting effects. He tried to learn to speak to the dead to talk to his parents again, but he has since learned it only works on those who haven't passed to the next life yet. Learned how to fight from a young age, but he has yet to come anywhere close to mastering any kind of combat. Aurelius grew up reading and writing a lot because of his mother. She was writing books that were left unfinished when she died, so he wants to finish them one day, and has been honing his skills as a writer and editor. His friend, Ignis, who was first interning at the library a year or two following his mother's death, encouraged him to finish the works in the first place. He also worked in the dragon nursery from the age of 15 until the whole accident in Fjellsted (Valkyrie's hometown) when he was 18.
Other (optional)- Can speak to the dead through his bond with the goddess Vosskevma. Bond with Nox allows him to manipulate shadow for the purpose of illusion (not a battle skill). His bond is so strong that sometimes he can attune to whatever visions she's having and catch very brief glimpses of those.

Appearance- 5'7, 140 lbs, heavy muscle for a woman, lean with few curves, naturally pale skin that's tanned fairly dark from spending so much time in the sun, dirty blonde long and wavy hair usually tied back with a red ribbon, bright amber eyes
Personality- ISTJ, True Neutral, Introverted, Often snarky and sassy, quick to snap, Shielded heart, Is greatly in tune to physical touch and the world and things going on directly around her, Tends to be logical and methodical; rarely acts on only feelings unless she has reason to back it up, Is slow to warm up to change, has a very hard time adjusting to new people and circumstances
Dragon's name, appearance, personality- Ragnarok, male, massive with large wingspan, light blue with yellow eyes and razor teeth, playful, enjoys fighting and playing rough, ambitious, actually is pretty evil and has been feeding Valkyrie his ideals, lightning dragon
Background- formerly a poor farmer, now a dragon rider; she found out she could talk to dragons a couple of years ago and Aurelius took her back to the village. However, before this, a dragon was in her hometown, chained up by knights to be killed in an arena. Aurelius went to save the dragon, but his mission went downhill, and Valkyrie's younger brother was killed by the dragon. She was never really one to take sides, but she wasn't ever able to bring herself to feel safe or welcome around dragons. She formed a bond with Ragnarok, who is very chaotic, perhaps evil, and he more or less told her that her reservations were okay, and thus she is convinced by wiping out all dragons, no one will ever have to suffer the same fate as her brother.

Appearance: Just shy of 6', 175 lbs, muscular and densely built, golden light brown skin tone, dark brown hair that's shaved on one side, terracotta brown eyes, lots of piercings on ear, one on lower lip, another on nose, complete tattoo sleeves on both arms, tattoos on chest and back, none of them really have any particular meaning, they just look cool and he likes the idea of using his body as a canvas
Personality: ESTJ, Lawful neutral?, An extrovert with a few introvert qualities, Caring (which might be the only thing he really feels with intensity), Cool and confident, Calm, even in crisis, Logical, thinks everything out, Usually has a plan, but doesn't mind spontaneity, as long as it's not stupid, Tends to get caught up in details of plans
Dragon's name, appearance, personality: Kratos… doesn't matter because he's dead… But he was a thunder dragon
Background (occupation, social class, backstory, etc): From the village to the north (which I have yet to name); Born to a single mother; his mom was with a man who got her pregnant at 19 and left. He was not born in a dragon village, but when he was about 3, his mom was struggling to support him, and she, knowing she could talk to dragons, tried to find someone who could help and was accepted into the village. Pollux was always a good fighter, but his health held him back a lot, so they groomed him to become a healer instead. It turned out to be a good move, as he was a really bright and curious kid, and he turned out to be good at his job.
He was set to become the head healer of the village when the attacks occurred and he lost everything.
Other (optional): Weapon of choice is a battleaxe, has asthma that's poorly controlled but rarely ever life-threatening (usually he carries around herbs/medicines to lessen his symptoms, but they're still a pain, especially as someone who is active). He has a journal detailing ailments and remedies he has seen. He does a lot of experimental work, including drug testing. He also has been known to study the inner workings of the human body by doing human dissection, which many older and more traditional members of society are horrified by, but they can't really argue it because it seems to improve how he does his work, and he claims to commune with the gods and make sure that his actions aren't too damnable. However, he'd probably be willing to take one for the team in the name of medicine.
