A. carefully pulled her into her lap, resting her chin on Reese's head. "That's good t' hear."
A. carefully pulled her into her lap, resting her chin on Reese's head. "That's good t' hear."
Reese let out a shaky breath. "I'm sorry."
"You ain't got nothin' t' apologize for. Also, I told you t' stop apologizing so much."
"Right…" she said softly. "I forgot."
"I'll let it slide this time." She joked.
Reese blushed. "Alright."
"Y'know, my first boyfriend never apologized for anything, so I'd definitely take this over him." She said, filling the silence in a sort of attempt to keep Reese distracted. "He was a dick in general though."
Reese looked up at her. "Is there such a thing as a daymare?"
"Daymare, noun. Meaning, a nightmarish fantasy experienced while awake." A. recited, looking down at her.
Reese nodded. "I think I just had one of those."
"That's not good. If they can get you while awake…"
Reese bit her lip. "I'm fine."
"Uh huh."
Reese blushed slightly.
She poked at Reese's cheeks lightly. "Blushy blushy blushy."
It only made her blush harder.
"So cute."
She bit her lip, unable to contain or stop her blush.
She pressed her lips to the top of Reese's head, chuckling.
"I want to tell you about my daymare," she whispered.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes," she said softly.
"Alright." She whispered.
Reese took a deep breath. "It was, like PTSD from when I was a kid. I was on a playground, and there was a group of kids that was standing a little bit away from me," she began slowly.
A. nodded, listening silently.
