"Uh huh! I can't promise you'll be able to play tomorrow, but I can promise it'll hurt less, and get better faster. An old teammate of mine sent it as a goodbye slash graduation gift." She grinned, holding it up and shaking it a bit.
"Fine," Reese agreed. Anything to get better to play tomorrow.
She sobered a bit. "It-it is made with cannabis, so I need to know you're okay with that, before using it. Some people aren't, even though it can't make you high or anything and it doesn't show in drug tests-uh, sorry. I ramble sometimes."
Reese paled a little. "If my coach or the organizers somehow find out…" She bit her lip to keep herself from finishing. She didn't want to worry A of the possibilites
"Well, okay, get this. It's legal, right? Has been for about a year. And like I said, it can't get you high, it's just not possible, because it's infused with the CBD, and not whatever the high factor is. The only issue I can see is that you can smell it?"
Reese bit her lip. "So there's no side-effects?"
"You mean besides healing and de-swelling? Nope. I've used it, friends have used it, medical experts have even recommended it. Old people use it for arthritis, too!"
"Fine," Reese agreed, taking the ice pack away.
A unscrewed the lid, scooping a small glob with her fingers and massaging it carefully into Reese's shoulder. "So what's with your captain's vaguely homophobic comments, huh?"
Reese would've shrugged, but that wasn't exactly an option right now. "I don't know."
"Hhhmm. Well, I don't like her. You can put the ice pack back." She screwed the lid back on. "I'm going to beat her ass first chance I get."
Reese complied. "I tried, and look how that turned out…"
"No, I mean like legit beat her ass. Hockey style, good old fashioned fists." She grinned, putting away the balm and pulling out a package of licorice.
Reese smiled a little. "I'd like to see that."
A held out one of the ropes in offering. "If things continue the way they have, you just might get to."
Reese smiled and took it. "Thank you."
"No problem." She chewed thoughtfully, staring off into space.
"So, the game?" she spoke up after a minute.
"Oh yeah!" She said, shocked out of whatever thoughts she had going through her head. "Like I said, pretty good memory, and I can listen to audio versions while practicing even."
"But what about your appearance?" she asked.
"Olivia happens to be a drama major, I can borrow the wig and contacts, that I know she has, from her."
"What if Tamika rats you out?"
"I kick her ass, that's what." She said matter of factly.
Blaze left his electronic music class with his bag in hand. He just finished up his project that was given to him just a few days ago. Since he loved music so much he wanted to get started on it as much possible. He didn't have his next class until a few hours later so he decided to walk around the quad on campus with the benches nearby. He took his sponge out from his bag and started brushing his hair and making sure it was even on all sides as he walked out the building. He found a spot on a bench and took his laptop to start working on his next piece. He put his headphones on and silently nodded to the music while working.
Bridget tapped her foot anxiously. Fine. Since he wasn't coming out, she decided to wait. She sat down on a bench, the same bench as a boy with earbuds in. She made sure to sit as far away from him as possible. Her gaze was forward and her posture straight – she nearly looked like a statue.
(Holy sh… I missed a lot)
Blaze saw the girl that sat on the bench he was on and purposely scooted away from him. He noticed it and smirked quietly to himself before pausing his music. "You know you can't come a bit closer to me. I promise I won't bite." He said with his signature smile, holding out his pinky to symbolize a pinky promise.
((yeah u did. shit went down
