Eventually, Paige made her way to the cafeteria. I got lucky. Those guards are terrible at their jobs. She saw that the group was still there, and that Vaughn had made his way back. How did he get here before me?
Eventually, Paige made her way to the cafeteria. I got lucky. Those guards are terrible at their jobs. She saw that the group was still there, and that Vaughn had made his way back. How did he get here before me?
Vaughn noticed Paige walk in, but quickly glanced away. He could easily assume things would be uncomfortable because of what happened in the dorms. He simply concentrated on a certain spot one the floor as he took another drink of the water.
Paige noticed Vaughn avoiding making eye contact with her. Yeah, that's probably for the best… She made her way over to the rest of the group at the large table in the back. "So, did anything happen while I was gone?"
Vaughn stayed where he was, silently listening to their conversation. Occasionally he would wipe a bit of blood from his lip and onto the back of his hand, it stinging.
(Hi)
(heyo)
(HI!)
(Hola)
Sacia strolled down the hall, heading back towards her room. It was getting late, and as much fun as it was to be dragged by the hair to her bedroom, she didn't really feel like getting caught after curfew.
Zanna made it back to her room. She collapsed on her bed, in her journal she wrote down the number 3. She flipped through the journal, It's been awhile since it's happened that many times.
Sacia entered her room. Zanna was already in there, on her bed, writing in her journal. "Hey," she greeted with a smile, sitting on her own bed and taking off her shoes.
"Hi," Zanna closed her notebook and looked at Sacia.
Paige sighed, making her way back to her dorm room. She yawned as she opened the door, immediately plopping down onto her bed.
Her brows lowered a bit. "So, wait. Am I talking to Zanna or Suzan? And does it matter?"
"Suzan," Zanna responded, "And normally it doesn't matter. Today was just an off day for us."
"Okay," Sacia shrugged, leaning back onto her bed and unbraiding her hair.
Zanna laid onto the bed. She stared at the ceiling, "What do you think is going to get me into the most trouble?"
"Well, if we don't stop swearing we could end up like Vaughn," she pointed out, "wherever the hell he is."
"But cussing's fun," Zanna whimpered.
"True," Sacia grinned. "I got busted for swearing one time last year. Since it was my first offense, they let me off with a warning. So you've got at least one pass."
After finishing his water, Vaughn trudged back to his dorm room. He changed into a simple pair of sweats and a white tshirt before crawling into bed. He felt exhausted and a tad broken. He exhaled slowly, letting his eyes flutter shut.
"So I should scream f*ck the police as loud as I can multiple times and see if they don't hate me?" Zanna looked over at Sacia.
"Um, of course you should," Sacia grinned.
Zanna grinned, "I'll start tomorrow. We already know they can't hear us in here."
Paige stared up at the ceiling above her, thinking over the events of the day. So my first day at this new school and I actually made friends, almost got killed, and saw a guy in just his underwear. She chuckled. I have a feeling that this will be the most normal day I have here.
