"Put the gun down Tom!" Hannah orders. Tom turns to look at her. She's holding a pistol to her head. "I will not hesitate to shot myself." She warns him, "I've had enough of this apocalypse." Tom drops the gun and takes a step towards Hannah. "Go!" She yells to Jacob and rushes out the door, Peanut at her heels.
"Get the asset!" Mike barks out the order. All the guards rush to the door and peer out.
"How?" Tom asks, they'res still seventeen minutes left.
"Augh, that bitch!" Barron yells,"We spend all this time for nothing!"
Hannah stops in the middle of the street and picks Peanut up. "Where do we do? Where do we go?" She asks him? Peanut meows. "No, the libraries to obvious!" She says,"Think Hannah! Where do they not-home.." Hannah looks down at her cat, the wind whipping through her hair, "That was the plan anyway. Peanut, we're going home."
Livia cursed when she saw both Jacob and Hannah had run off. “God, I don’t get it. He knows why I’m here.” She waited for them to come back, because they eventually would, right? However, they did not return soon.
"We can't leave until the Wave is over!" Jacob yells at Hannah, who is heading to the metal doors. "It is idiotic to think we can fend in the Brown Clouds. We have to find somewhere to hide in here."
Hannah rushes through the streets, the mosquitos buzzing by her like she was invisible. She shields Peanut carefully, making she they don't notice him. Finally, she reaches her house, runs inside, and slams the door. Smiling sadly, she takes a step forward. "Hey, Danial." She whispers.
Barrow runs alongside Jacob while carrying Jordan, as he had picked his friend up. Like hell he is going to put down one of his friends when he is sick, or leave him to be prodded by the scientists there. Racing with the two, Doll's fur brushes along Barrow's legs. With a look around, Barrow slows. "Hey, Jacob? We could hide in one of the clothing stores, in the changing rooms." Waiting for Jacob's response, Barrow casts wary glances around them.
Olivia finds Jacob and whistles to wolf. They both run to catch up with the others and listen in to ideas being spewed.
Hannah takes another step forward. So does Danial. Or, what was left of him. He makes a low grunting noise and she carefully sets Peanut down. He eyes the cat hungry. "Do you remember me, Danial?" Hannah asks slowly,"Do you remember Peanut?"Danial grunts and waves an arm at the cat. "Yeah, Peanut is our pet." Hannah says slowly, looking Danial in the eye, "You don't want to hurt Peanut." Hannah looks down at her gun. "I know you didn't mean to hurt me." She tells Danial, "Back at the mall, all the guards did was take my blood, and leave me more and more empty." She starts crying a little. Danial twists his head and grunts. "It's okay." Hannah says, "They're just curious. No one in the mall has ever been bitten by an infected ever. At most is the mosquitos. It's been two weeks, Danial, and I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm scared." Danial takes two steps towards her, groaning softly. "I think it's time you go home." Hannah says softly, "It's not fair, me keeping you this way just because I can't let go. So I'm letting go." Hannah sniffs and slowly raises her gun. "Say hi to the moms for me," Hannah whispers.
BANG!
Danial slowly falls to the floor and Hannah lets out a cry, rushing over to his body and flinging herself on top of him, sobbing hard. "Mercy." She chokes out.
(NOOOOOOO!! I won't let this die!!!!!)
(tries to break down door ten seconds later uses key I'm here!!!)
Jacob gathered his stuff, ready to leave the second the Wave stopped. She's probably already dead. He told himself, just to cover the guilt of not running after her. Guards surrounded the doors, and civilians were rushing around in complete fear. "Let's get to the second floor." he muttered to the group, as they slid in the frantic crowd, hidden from the guards.
"We need to get her," Barron says to the other guards.
"Four more minutes," Tom tells him, tapping his watch.
"Well aware." Barron growls, "Goddamit! She was all we had! How are we supposed to figure out how the infected work now!"
After waiting for a while, Livia figured they weren’t coming back and became worried. She began to run and finally came across Jacob, among others. “Where’s Hannah?” She whispered.
"Bitch gave us the slip." One of the guards growled at her, "And she only starting acting like this when you got here."
"Did you do anything to her?" Another guard asks, "Did you give her something?"
(who are the guards talking to)
(Oh, okay)
“Me, specifically? No. I’m not sure what happened, truth be told. You can continue to treat us like scum, but when we find the cure, you damn well better be thanking us,” Livia spat back, “Believe it or not, we’re not here to antagonize you.”
"When you find the cure? As if." Harold scoffs.
(This RP will NOT die!!!)
“So you’re just going to lay down and die?” Livia sighed, “What a horrible way to go out.”
(It’s all good, I had college orientation today, which is why I haven’t been here.)
"We are not going to lay down and die." The guard snaps,"We were halfway to finding the cure before you got here. Until our asset got out, thanks to you and your friends."
“She escaped of her own volition. Anyway, if you know what’s good for you and everyone else, you’ll make sure the people living here join forces with us. We’ve got information that might be useful in finding a cure, too.” Livia closed her stance. “And it’s never good to rely on a single person for all of your needs like that. What would happen to your precious research if she died?”
"Information? Like what?" Tom asks, folding his arms over his chest.
“You think I’m just going to tell you, huh? Cute.” Livia laughed. “We’d surely have to cut a deal first. Wait until the wave is over. We’ll see if Hannah made it, then we can talk.”
"Ohh, she'll make it." Barron scoffs, "Not so sure about her cat though, but who cares about him. Just another useless animal eating our food. We only kept him because we thought that would be enough to keep Hannah here. Now look where we are."
