"Um… I was trying to, but my parents haven't taught me how yet. It heard me, so I just chased it! Is that not how you hunt?" He cocked his head to the side, confused.

"Well I don't know too much myself but Im pretty sure rule number one is to be silent and stay hidden but if it ran away and you chased it theeeen i guess its ok? Kira said as she doesn't really have that much hunting experience either

"Oh… well, it was fun anyways! I didn't really think I'd catch it, but chasing things is fun!" Scout's tail thumped on the ground, and it seemed to be difficult for him to sit still for long.

Kira liked this fox's enthusiasm "I think we haven't presented ourselves, Im Kira nice to meet you" She said

"Oh! Yeah, I forgot to! I'm Scout!" He stood up, unable to sit down anymore. He got down into play position, his tail wagging in the air. "Will you play with me?"

"Sure thing!" she exclaimed, she hasn't played with anyone a long time ago

Kira touched scout with her paw "Touched! you now have to chase me, you said you love to chase things right? well prove it!" She said laughing as she started to run away from Scout

Scout dashed after Kira, tongue lolling out of his mouth as he ran. His paws were a blur beneath him, but he couldn't quite catch up with her. Her legs were longer, and she had more experience. He tried to run faster before he stumbled over his paws, tumbling head over tail onto the ground. The wind was knocked out of him, but he simply shook his head and pulled himself to his feet.

Kira turned her head to see Scout struggling to catch up to her, so she slowed down her pace and waited for Scout to touch, she will let him win, this will give him more self-esteem she thought

The little fox accelerated again, closing the distance between Kira and himself. After a bit, he was close enough to touch her hind leg and skid to a halt. "T-touched!" He panted before skittering off in the opposite direction. His heart was pounding, but he was enjoying himself.

Kira turned and started chasing Scout, she felt really good for the moment

Scout weaved through a patch of trees, having to slow down a bit so he wouldn't run into any of the trees. Some branches got caught in his fur and he was trapped in place, a little above the ground with his paws churning beneath him as he struggled to free himself.

Kira saw Scout struggling against a bush, she helped Scout down and also took the chance and touched him "Touched!" and she ran into a different direction

Scout took a few moments to catch his breath before running off after Kira again, panting. He managed to avoid the trees this time, and sprinted through an open field to try and make up the distance he had lost.

Kira stopped to let Scout gain his breath again

He was catching up to Kira now, only about ten yards away from her at this point. He slowed his pace a bit when he realized she wasn't moving. He stopped beside her, looking up at her from the ground as he panted. His heart was still pounding from the physical exertion.

"You need to rest a liitle bit Sir" Kira laughed

Scout nodded and sat down to catch his breath. Although he was exhausted, he seemed to be having a good time.
