(OK. Cool?)
Faray kept running, hearing the angel slow. His wings rustling behind him, stray feathers fluttering off, he keeps running, can feel the pack on his heels. Won't be able to run much longer, might have to fight.
It doesn't matter. She made a promise to save him, so she will. She started to swing at them, tearing through them like nothing. There were so many of them that it was still going to be a challenge.
She got to where he, the Angel, was. If that was what he was and turned around to fight the one closest to him. She struck and she landed.
The pack fanned out ready to strike.
"Get ready to fight!" She yelled out, hoping he was right behind her. "This won't be easy."
Ingnoring the stinging in his eyes from her grace, he drew his blade, blue and black. Scanning the wolves, he slashed across one when it leapt for him. As it crumpled to ashes he turned to the next, fighting with uneasy skill, the kind that only comes with decades of practice. Fighting, his eyes glowing darkly, and his blade leaving a trail of shadows. Eventually he sheathed his blade. Turning he faced his ally, black wings shifting uneasily.
As he finished off the last wolf she faced him. She couldn't see him very well but the half moon lit up his bright blue eyes. She stranded her eyes trying to get a good look at him.
"Who are you…" She held herself up in a strong stance. She couldn't see him but she knew he could see the way she presented herself. "…and what happened here?"
The voice is raspy, horse with dissuse. There is an almost melodious quality to the voice, like you could fall asleep listening to it, and sleep…f o r e v e r . "My name is Faray, I appear to have been chased down by a pack of hellhounds. Most likely I have insulted or displeased a rather high ranking demon." He nods, as if confirming his story. However, his aura is shielded from her Sight and her Grace.
His voice was rough and barely comprehensible but what he did say was questionable in the least. "Hellhounds," she had heard the term before. A dog-like creature bound to serve a master, a demon master. She lowered her head a bit. "how could you have done that?" Her sword, not forgotten, hanging at her side. She gripped it tighter, clenching her left fist as well and leaning in.
She knew something was off about this "angel" but she didn't know what. All she could do was question him because, judging by his stance and positioning, if she took one step he would bolt. He better say something clever though because at first sign of a threat, she will defend.
His blade is sheathed, but she gets the feeling that he doesn't need a blade to do damage. "If demons get half a chance they send hellhounds after angels, or if they just want some, entertainment." He nearly spits the last word. His eyes are starting to dim, but now and again she catches a glimpse of them reflecting moonlight. That is unusual, because angel's eyes don't have reflective qualities. On that note, demon eyes do reflect.

SETTING CHANGE TO A PITCH BLACK ROOM CONTAINING ONLY A YOUNG GIRL. Darkness. so much darkness. all Layla could see was darkness. and then it hit her like a ton of bricks. "My wings!" she screeched feeling her back in hopes of feeling the familiar feathery wings. "they….actually did it….. they ripped off my wings." Layla choked back a sob and instead let out an ear-piercing scream that could be heard for miles around.
Will heard a scream. He sat up from staring at the gates of Heaven and smiled.
Layla screamed for what seemed to be hours but only turned out to be mere minutes. she was in shock that anyone would do this. she broke down in tears. "s…someone pl…please help m…me!" Layla begged to the intimidating silence that surrounded her
Will got of his hill and decided to investigate. He first made a stop in his basement to see if the human girl he kidnapped yesterday was still alive. Instead, he saw another girl crying in the corner. his torture chair was gone.
"YOU!" Layla Screamed, pointing at Will. "YOU DID THIS TO ME!GIVE THEM BACK! IT WASAN ACCIDENT! I DIDNT WANT ANYONE TO GET HURT! Just please….give them back to me." Layla rambled on while Will watched her, leaning against the doorframe.
Will frowned, "nice to see you too, Layla. What are you claiming I did?"
"stop playing dumb, Will, you know exactly what you did. now give me back my wings." Layla seethed, ready to throw the first thing she found.
Reading her thoughts Will scanned the room, making sure that there was nothing in it. He walked towards her stopping when his face was a mere inch from her's. "I don't care." He sighed. "I don't care about what I did. Don't care about where I put your wings. Just don't care."
"You will never be forgiven for what you've done, now if you'll excuse me, I now have a sudden urge to terrorize bad men," Layla glared at the dark figure. she walked past him, making sure to give him a cold, hard slap.
Will laughed when Layla slapped him. He grabbed her arm and jerked her back to face him.
(GTG BYE!)
"What do you want, huh? you've already taken everything." Layla asked, her tone quiet.
(OKIE, BYE BYE!)
Faray doesn't like danger. Before the Angel before him can ask questions he slips into the shadows. They welcome him like an old friend. The ability to Shadowwalk is unique to him, to take an Angel would freeze them, and Demons are driven more insane by it. As he wanders, scenes outlined before him, he feels terror. Not his own, no. A Demon's. He finds the source, sees the outline of two Demons. Walking through the the shadows, he steps in front of the female, shielding her from the male. His black wings flare threateningly. He chooses to shield her, even knowing that he will most likely be beaten by both individuals because of his wings. Because he was outcast. He stares the male down.
