He chuckled softly. "Mm. Alright." he wisely didn't comment on the dog-ness of this, merely sat back in his seat and sighed softly.
(gtg soon sorry)

“..So.” Danny started through a mouthful of skewer. He moved it to the corner of his mouth so that he could speak properly. “How’s the night been treatin’ ya?”
Alex shrugged a little bit, shaking his head. "Eh. It's been fine, I guess." He replied with a smile.
“Yeah? That’s.. cool.” Danny removed the ice from his bruises, a little unnerved by the fact that the cold was numbing his face. “Just sorta chillin’, then?”
He nodded. "Yeah, pretty much. I worked on my freelancer stuff, and my personal project some more. Visited my dad, too." he looked away for a moment, letting out a breath.
“Oh, shit, yeah.. how’s he doin’?” Danny gnawed on the skewer a little more.
"He's, uhm…" he shrugged slightly. "I don't know. He's got…they think about two months, judging by the growth rate of the tattoo, and by comparing his records with, with the rest of our family's." he replied slowly, looking down at his hands.
“…Shit.” Danny stopped chewing for a moment, the skewer falling limp in his teeth. “I’m sorry, man. Lemme know if ya ever need anythin’, alright?”
(gtg soon sorry)
Alex nodded slightly. "Alright. Thank you." he said softly, running a hand through his hair.
(np, gn!)
“Yea.” Danny rolled his shoulders back. He replaced the ice back onto his bruises once they began that dull hurt again, shutting his eyes momentarily.
Alex let out a breath, thinking of his dad, and the curse, and the tattoo that curled over his own skin. He knew that even if he were to burn away the tattoo, it would just come back on the scars. Others in his family had tried everything. It always came back.
Danny wasn’t exactly sure what to do now. He sat, quiet, some Nirvana song bouncing around in his head and refusing to leave.
Alex shook his head, and got up. "So. Do you need or want anything else?" he asked, looking over at Danny.
“..Nah. Thanks, brother, for everythin’. Real fuckin’ nice of ya to help me out.” He withdrew the ice again, blinking a bit to try and dull the cold.
He nodded, and get himself a glass of water. "You're welcome." he replied, sitting down again and taking a sip from his glass.
Danny continued to gnaw on the skewer, accidentally snapping it at one point and tucking the broken piece into his pocket like nothing happened.
(I’m assuming that these are wooden or bamboo lmao)
Alex let out a breath, leaning back in his chair. He didn't know what to do or say or anything, really.
(yeah lmao)
“So.. uh..” Danny mumbled, a little uncomfortable in the silence. “The pack’s doin’ good..”
"Hm? oh. That's good." Alex replied with a quick smile, looking over at Danny again. He took another sip of water.
“Yeah. Kit got his first shift, took about six hours, poor guy. Got out the apartment ‘n bit the fuck outta a neighbor. Sucks.” Danny laughed, thinking about the tiny werewolf’s teeth clamped around the neighbor’s knee. Even as toddlers, werewolves had strong jaws.
Alex winced at that. "Ah. Yikes. That sounds painful." He replied, shaking his head a little bit.
“Guesso. I think I’m immune at this point.” Danny snorted.
(I probably gtg soon, sorry)
Alex let out a faint laugh at that. "Yeah, true. I'm not, though. Just a normal human being, right here."
(gn!)
“Vanilla human, nothin’ wrong with that.” Danny shrugged. “Let’s see.. neighbors threatened to get us evicted- not the one that Kit bit, other ones.”
(back for a little bit!)
"Well, almost. There is a curse." He replied. He frowned. "Wait, why?" he asked, looking at Danny.
