“Mhm. You’re perfect.” He smiled, kissing his forehead gently.
“Mhm. You’re perfect.” He smiled, kissing his forehead gently.
"So are you," Arien said in turn. He kissed at Rafael's chin when his forehead was kissed.
He chuckled softly at that, pulling away from the other, laying his head back down on the couch.
Arien rested his head on Rafael's chest when Rafael pulled away, humming in satisfaction.
"Love you," he mumbled.
“I love you too…” He echoed, resting one hand on the back of Arien’s head.
Arien smiled into Rafael's shirt as the hand rested on him. He let his eyes close, content to lay here. It wasn't very long at all until he'd fallen into his slumber state…
Rafael smiled as he felt the other doze off. He stayed awake for a bit longer.
There was silence in the house other than the television, for a while. Still, occasionally bumps or soft little sounds that didn't quite seem to be from the television. By that time, it was too late, though, a hand going over Rafael's mouth.
"If you try to wake him, I'll kill you here and now," a voice, a very, very familiar voice growled.
(NUUUU!! Darn you evil writers… Curls up in corner with popcorn to watch the drama… I NEED MORE!!)
Rafael instinctively stiffened up at hearing who it was but he obeyed the man’s instructions, not making any movements or sounds that might wake Arien. Or he listened for now at least.
Elliot took his hand off of Rafael's mouth, walking around to the front of the couch. He snarled a bit, taking Rafael's chin in his hand.
"You don't deserve him," he growled.
“You don’t even know me.” He replied, equally as aggressive. He made sure to still keep his voice down, not wanting to wake Arien.
"But I know him. You've barely known him a week, I've known him for hundreds of years." Elliot growled softly again, making sure both of them weren't waking Arien up.
“And you think that means you deserve him?” He growled back. “Neither of us deserve him but that doesn’t give you a reason to just be an asshole to me. Don’t you want him to be happy?”
"I want him to not make a mistake. Which he obviously did, thinking he fell for a human like you. But I'll fix that…" There was a hard edge to Elliot's voice. Just what would he do?
“Whatever you’re planning, Arien will stop you.” He said confidently. He thought nothing bad could happen with Arien there.
"I'll have what I'm planning over before he has a chance to wake up," Elliot said. He smirked, leaning close to Rafael.
"I'm going to make you hate him just as much as I do you."
“That’ll never work.” He said, but even as the words left his mouth, he was doubting it. He really had no idea what Elliot was capable of.
"We'll see." Elliot's voice was changing, his eyes dilating into darkness. He held Rafael's chin still, a physical anchor to the other.
"Years lost, tears cried, you'll never be by his side. Love is hate, hate is love, switch the two, I command thee, let my words be law and my will reality."
Rafael tried to pull away when he heard the change in Elliot’s voice, but he couldn’t budge, it was like his chin was glued to Elliot’s hand. He couldn’t escape, and Elliot’s spell washed over him, changing him.
Elliot fell silent after a moment. It was done. He pulled his hand away.
"Why do you lay with the vampire who's going to kill you one day?" He asked.
Rafael’s face, which had just before been filled with so much resistance, twisted with disgust. He scoffed. “It’s not by choice. You think I like him coddling me?”
(NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
(I'm,,,,, gonna be crying about this when I go to sleep,,,,)
Elliot smirked some.
"Of course, my mistake. I'll be taking my leave now- good luck dealing with lover boy."
