Arien let out a soft breath.
"Thank you," he said softly. He worried for Rafael, with the feedings. He was genuinely thinking of taking up hunting again. He leaned forward, kissing Rafael lightly in turn and using his hand to cup the man's cheek.
“Hey..” He said before Arien could pull away. “Don’t worry about me, okay? If something’s ever wrong, I’ll let you know.”
Arien hesitated a moment, then nodded a bit.
"Okay," he said softly. "Thank you, for that." He didn't know what he would do if him feeding was the thing that killed Rafael…
He nodded. “Of course….” he gently kissed Arien’s forehead. “I love you..” he reminded him, smiling softly.
"I love you too, Rafael." Arien smiled just a bit, wrapping his arms around Rafael and hugging him.
Rafael gave him a quick squeeze before letting go of him and starting to eat his food, humming softly.
Arien sat down when Rafael pulled away, making himself some hot coco. He was addicted, he would admit, but the drama lately had distracted him from the sweet, sweet call of the sugary drink.
Rafael smiled a bit when he figured out what Arien was making, chuckling softly under his breath.
Arien looked over when he heard Rafael chuckle.
"What's so funny?" he asked, moving to sit down across from Rafael with his mug.
“It’s just been awhile since you made it some of that I almost forgot that you drank it. You still making it just as sweet as you are?” He asked with a small smile.
"Mm, still not sweet enough, then." Arien smiled in turn. "I'd much rather it'd be more like you than me."
He chuckled. “That was pretty smooth, good job.”
Arien laughed lightly.
"Why thank you, I do my best."
He smiled, continuing to eat his food.
Arien sipped at his drink, letting out a soft hum of content.
"This is nice," he said softly.
“It is, isn’t it?” He just hoped it would last. He didn’t want this whole relationship thing…jeez they hadn’t even really said that they were in a relationship. He just kind of assumed.
Arien had assumed they were in a relationship as well. He hummed softly, reaching over to lightly squeeze Rafael's hand.
"I'm so glad we finally did this."
He smiled, squeezing Arien’s hand. “Me too..”
Arien leaned forward, kissing Rafael's cheek lightly. He was so glad they'd finally opened up to each other, face to face.
“You know what this means don’t you?” He said, suddenly sounding very serious.
Arien was a bit surprised by the sudden change in tone.
"What..?"
“We’ll never be able to see your friends again because they were right.” He said, his serious facade cracking as he started laughing.
Arien let out a low groan, putting his head on the counter.
"They're never going to let me live this down," he mumbled. "They're going to be all over me being shy, I swear to god-"
“They really won’t ever let you live this down so um….good luck.” He said, gently patting Arien’s shoulder.
Arien mumbled something into the countertop, eyes closed as his face turned red in embarrassment.
"I'm literally going to be embarrassed by them for the rest of time…"
