I went out for a walk once it was dark, and I did see it. It was indeed very beautiful.
Trick-or-treating was over by then but a guy thought I was a kid and tried to give me candy anyway

I'm meditating more, and I think I'm getting better at falling into a more trance-like receptive state, but an unfortunate side effect of that is intense dizziness. When I close my eyes and get in ~the zone~ there begins this feeling of a giant pendulum, as it were, attracting my mind, circling my head which makes me very dizzy and slightly scared to fall deeper, so I'll "wake up", but I'll be cross eyed and disoriented for a few seconds. Is that just something that will go with time as I practice?

Dear friend in my DMs right now:
Just because I am an experienced Wiccan does not mean it is my duty to teach you or "make you my apprentice."
Especially not when a few months ago you compared Wicca and witchcraft to "when my friends and I thought we were werewolves in third grade."

(I feel like this is very specific… Ngl…)

Obviously we are all here to give advice and share what we do on our individual paths but you are absolutely right, Leo. It is none of our responsibilities to teach another baby witch— everyone here found their own path and what works for them with the advice of another. If we were to teach someone based on our own sole practices then it wouldn’t truly be personal to them and defeats the purpose entirely.

Unitarian Universalism is based ngl

Hm? Could you explain? I do honestly want to know, not starting a fight or anything.

Unitarian Universalism is a religion, but they don't have any creed or unified theological belief. You're free to form your own spiritual beliefs. What unites them is seven core principles:

  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
  2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.
  4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
  5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.
  6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.
  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

UUs believe all spiritual paths and cultures are valid and good (as long as you follow those 7 guides ofc), and they try to sprinkle in a bit of everything in their worship services. Although they usually believe in and worship a higher power, many UUs are atheist or don't believe in a literal god. UU congregations are like a melting pot of spirituality. A UU can be anything and worship anything in any way they please.

Not to be rude, but that sounds like the best of ALL worlds
