@PuffPoff I was reading through the stuff before I got here and I think my friend goes to your church cause her church was voting on the same stuff at the same time. And they voted the same way

Is she just in the Methodist church or do you mean the actual same church in the same town?

I think it was mainly a vote to see if pastors could be gay

My pastor said that it was a vote as to whether or not being LGBT was a sin or not in the Methodist church.

I heard it was because they did it over all the Methodist church and America was the only place super on board with.

Yeah. Since the UMC is a global church, and America is basically one of the only countries big in the LGBT movement, it was voted down.

Tbh my church hasn't changed at all and we're just ignoring that rule

I think it was a vote all taken at the same time, so every Methodist church would have been voting at the same time.
