@PrettyLittlePyro
(Yeah.)
(Yeah.)
(Great…I think I’ll have to do that something soon enough lol)
Aisen struggled to move but to no avail. His pitch black eye flashed and a black substance came out of it, covering half his face. “Cancel!!” He yelled. Some of the black substance from his face jumped straight to Adara, canceling all other magic except for ones created by Aisen. The substance maintained a barrier like structure around her. Aisen coughed out blood as the spell was getting casted.
The pain went away and Adara collapsed, curling into a ball, trying to recover. What was her uncle?
The king eyes Aisen with an unreadable look in his eye. "Well well well. So she really is your girlfriend. Interesting." He snapped his fingers, and Aisen was let go. A door opened at the end of the arena and a few Hydras ran out.
Aisen picked up his scythe. “Hey old man…Shut up once in a while, I swear your life will be much easier…” he advised. He changed the scythe to black and white longswords to match the hues of his eyes. Without hesitation, he dashed quicker than eyes of one could follow, slicing every Hydras’ necks one by one (Not killing them yet, of course). After the movement, he coughed out some more blood. His body has taken too much for the day, but there’s no turning back now. His white eye flashed, turning the white longsword into a staff. He held it up high and summoned a barrage of light blades to pierce the Hydras’ necks, where he has left marks.
Adara stood and heard cheering. She looked around to see Aisen fighting some Hydras. She swore, sent her uncle a glare, and ran towards them, her fiery sword in her hands.
Aisen saw Adara run out of the sphere he’s created. “Stay Back!!!” he yelled. As the light blades come down, they didn’t choose which target to attack and which to not. Some of them were aimed directly at Adara…and it was too late to dodge.
The collision had happened and the cloud of smoke has cleared…but Adara seemed to be unharmed. A darker equivalent of the sphere Aisen created before surrounded her, with light blades only inches away from her body. The Hydras have stopped moving, same with Aisen’s currently kneeling body. The half of his face which hosted his black eye was burned to the point where some parts of his skull was visible.
(That took longer to type than expected XD)
Adara gaped. He was using too much power! She felt her anger rise at her uncle, at how he had treated them. Her fire was getting slowly hotter.
Aisen slowly stood up, using the staff he held as support. He breathed heavily while his body collapsed slightly. He steadily made his way towards Adara, aware that his face is currently messed up.
She waited for him, aware that if she left the sphere, he would have to use even more of his power. Adara watched, eyes burning.
“I…I apologize for yelling at you…” he said as his black eye absorbed the two spheres’ energy back into his eye. His face didn’t return to its normal state, but he looks slightly more refreshed.
Adara held him up, wincing slightly at his face. "You're good. Now, stay here, it's my turn to fight," she said as a few Chimera appeared.
“Yeah, please take over…” Aisen requested as he sat down on the floor, once again using his staff as support.
Adara sighed, sending him a fond look before stepping out of the sphere. Her anger burned hotter when she heard the boos, and when she saw her uncle looking bored. She thought about how he had illusioned her into thinking that she had almost killed him, and her fury burned so hot that her hair and hands burst into flames. She charged at the Chimeras, eyes glowing red-hot, fire trailing after her.
Aisen stared blankly at the fire before his sight turned blurry. He soon fainted inside the sphere. His body has taken too much without him knowing.
Adara heard a thump and glanced over to see Aisen get knocked out. Her uncle laughed, amused. He was eating… popcorn? While watching people die?
Adara's fury was unimaginable. Fire exploded all around her, burning a light blue-the hottest fire ever. It burned the Chimera with ease and licked up the walls, towards the crowd. They screamed and started running. That only fueled her even more. Light blue flames burst into being in front of the doors, and soon the crowd was surrounded.
"Enough!" Her uncle yelled, standing up. Adara glared at him, eyes glowing like her fire. Her hair was made of pure flame, and her fists were on fire.
"No," she said simply.
Her uncle made a motion, shooting water from his hands at the fire, but the water evaporated. He tried moving it, but to no avail. He was powerless against her.
(Ohhhhhh, this is perfect Evil laughter)
“Hey there, your majesty” a young man’s voice echoed inside the king’s head but no one was near him, yet the voice was almost beside him.
Adara walked slowly towards the king, stepping on fiery steps.
“Care to explain what happened to my brother lying over there, your majesty?” The voice asked and their voice ricocheted inside his head. Following the question was a sadistic laughter, loud enough to hurt the king’s mind.
Adara heard the voice, but gave no indication that she did. The king backed slowly away, real fear in his eyes. She raised a burning fist and gestured in the air. A woman made of flames appeared. "F-fiametta?" He stammered, recognizing his late wife.
The voice in the king’s mind has gone silent…after a long time of pure silence, a loud scream pierced his mind from the inside out. A figure appeared behind the king, holding a poison tipped knife by his throat. The other hand was holding the king’s head steadily, making sure he can’t escape without cutting himself on the knife.
Adara waved sarcastically. "Hey, annoying person. You mind not killing him just yet?"
"Mother, can you please not be rude in front of our guest?' Since Elm's mom hadn't turned around, she hadn't noticed Aza. She whipped around faster than a lightening bolt and rushed over to Aza. "Forgive me, darling, I didn't know my idiot son finally did something right! My name's Margerie, but you can call me Marge. You're such a pretty thing! I absolutely love your hair. Oh and can I offer you some tea-" Elm cut in quickly. "Yes, we'd like tea, or if you have anything stronger, that would be great mother." Once again frowning at her "disappointment of a son," Marge walked back to the cupboard and selected cups to make tea in.
"Uh, sorry, she's a little overbearing…" Elm said to Aza apologetically.(Okay, that is just beautiful.)
