Lotus nodded, "Okay. You can let me know if you grow tired as well. You don't have to push yourself if you are going to do that."
Lotus nodded, "Okay. You can let me know if you grow tired as well. You don't have to push yourself if you are going to do that."
"Don't use me as an excuse to stop," Pine warned suspiciously. "I'm never tired."
Victor smiled. "It wouldn't take too long. We have at least another day of traveling after this. But if you don't want to talk, don't." The sun was descending. He looked around, but he wasn't familiar with the surroundings and couldn't see a town.
"I wouldn't. I was just merely pointing out you could stop the carriage to," Lotus said.
Alexia nodded, "I mean, I'll be able to tell you more when we reach the subkingdom that we're going to." She looked around and raised an eyebrow, "Where are we Victor?"
(Hey, so I just thought I say this sooner than later. But as of tomorrow I'm going to be gone until Sunday evening. Like 0 posts. So yeah, just a heads up. :P)
(sorry I'm taking so long)
Pine shrugged and closed his eyes again, tired of being in a carriage. "Either way, we'll stop in an hour."
"I know where we are," Victor says defensively.
She rolled her eyes, "You do know that it's getting dark out, right?" She asked. the temperature was getting quite nice as it slowly got darker out, so she really wasn't going to complain, but she did want to know if he was telling the truth.
Lotus nodded and looked out the window as well, "Okay."
“My father, certainly. The Queen as well. I am hesitant to invite any of my brothers.” Damian furrowed his eyebrows in thought as he considered this.
((SORRY! I just realized that I completely forgot to actually respond…
"Might I recommend inviting them? Only if you want to, of course, but maybe a few of them will have matured." Catori smiled, tucking a loose strand of hair back from her face. "Those other princesses looked like they could whip a man into shape."
I just got pathetically excited when I saw you replied😅))
Damian took this into consideration before doing a double-take. “Do you intend on whipping me into shape as well, Princess?” A mixture of amusement and concern filled his voice.
((Now I feel bad!
Catori shook her head, trying to keep down laughter. "Not unless you wish me to, in which case you would need to present something for me to help you fix. Up to now, there has been nothing."
Oml, don’t! I totally forgot about this until you replied!))
“My back is cold. Fix that.” Damian was admittedly flattered by Catori’s subtle praise. He stretched and arched his back, lying down. Originally, the prince though it would take eloquent flattery to get a princess to like him, but it turned out charm and the quality of ‘being cute’ worked just as well if not better.
"And how exactly would you like me to do that?" Catori asked, raising an eyebrow, and slight flush crept up her neck.
Damian simply gave her an expectant look, opening his arms.
"That's not very informative." Catori said as she lay down next to him, stretching like a cat.
“Didn’t have to be.” Damian reached out to Catori, pulling her close.
Catori let out a surprised squeak, her cheeks darkening. She made no move to pull away though, even leaning into him as she allowed her magic to warm him up.
Damian’s cheeks had darkened a bit as well, but he was clearly pretending he didn’t notice. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you at all?”
"N-no, I'm alright. You just surprised me." Catori said, voice quiet as she desperately wished for the color on her cheeks to go away.
Damian smiled, enjoying seeing her face flushed. “I think you’re right about inviting my brothers. I would like to show you off.”
Catori squeezed her eyes shut, pretending that if she couldn't see him, he wouldn't be able to see her. "That was not what I meant by that, and you know it."
“I have no idea what you speak of.” I teased, playing dumb. “They’ll all be jealous when they see how perfect you are.”
"There are so many things incorrect about that statement, Damian." Catori countered, not opening her eyes.
“You’re simply modest.” Damian, although not one for taking risks, was feeling impulsive. He leaned forward and kissed the tip of Catori’s nose before shyly pulling back, throughly embarrassed.
An hour later, they did stop. They were in a smaller town, surrounded by a short forest. Pine got out, trying not to be too quick, and gave the driver enough money to find a place to stay. He opened Lotus's door again. "Well, we're not done with that carriage yet, but this place has a nice inn and I think we should sleep while we can."
"Yes, I know it's getting dark out. I also know we're in a forest, on a mountain, in the wilderness." Dark. "Let's keep going, okay?" Victor scowled fiercely and kicked Charming.
