Winter jolted again. Elias put his arm around her to keep her from falling. She replied, "Yeah that's five, because we just met up with another person. Her name is Arlo. She makes six. By the way, does it feel like you're convulsing whenever I talk to you, because Elias is keeping me from falling when you respond…"
No… Estelle replied. The door suddenly opened. A spike of fear erupted in her heart. Winter!? Are you still there?
Despite Elias efforts, Winter doubled over in pain."What's wrong… When you erupt in panic, I feel pain… Don't tell whoever about me being able to talk to you…"
I'm sorry! Estelle whispered back. Her mother entered the room. Estelle tried not to panic, knowing how much Winter was suffering. She stood up defensively, trying to move out of the corner. My mother.
Winter looked at Elias. The blue glow in her eyes had returned. "I don't think that that woman is your mother… She's an Imperial. Maybe she's a fake…"
Maybe she's a fake… fake… fake… fake… The woman's features no mercy, and her limp was beginning to recede. Her cold green eyes contrasted violently with Estelle's soft blue ones. Estelle slowly picked out every feature that she could find that proved that this woman was a fake. Sharp jawline, brown hair, pale skin… Her mother's fingers reached out an wrapped around her wrist. Estelle tried to yank her arm away, but her mother's grip was too tight.
"Don't fight, Estelle. I'm your mother. You will do as I say."
"No," Estelle said, her voice surprisingly strong. She felt her muscles tense up and she glared at the Imperial. A cool draft filled the room. The woman's gaze faltered, but then she fixated on Estelle's eyes. She squeezed Estelle's wrist hard and Estelle screamed, closing her eyes and recoiling. At once, the woman released her and let her go. She backtracked and practically ran out of the room. Estelle breathed heavily. She calmed herself down before reaching out. Winter, are you there?
Winter jolted, "Yeah, I'm here. You ok?"
Elias muttered, "I wish you would stop jolting. You are going to spaz out if you don't, and I don't want to freeze anybody this time…"
My mot- The woman is a fake. She's not my mother. I resisted her, and the room went really cold and she was staring at my eyes. Then she let me go and left really quickly. What am I? What's wrong with me?
Winter sighed as if she was hit with a welcome breeze. "I have no idea who or what you are, but if the room went really cold, we need to talk in person. Because if you made a room go cold, you are definitely not from Naboo…"
I can only see out of a skylight that is too far out of my reach. How much longer until dusk?
Winter jolted again. "I don't know how much longer it is until dusk… I'll have to ask Essar."
Winter zoomed back into reality. "Hey Essar, how much longer until dusk?" Elias was still worried. He knew Winter told him not to, but still he did. He didn't want what happened earlier when she passed out, and almost wouldn't wake up…
"Not much longer! Just a few more minutes before it's fine for you two."
Winter escaped from reality once again. "Essar said not much longer Estelle. Where are you located exactly? It might cut down on some time. Time that we might need…"
I'm sorry, Winter. I have no idea where I am. I can tell you what my house looks like, though.
Winter jolted again, "Yeah, that would be nice, we could come to you easier, and it wouldn't take as long for us to get you out of there. It would be safer for you, and it would keep us from getting caught."
Ok, it's big. Like, probably one of the biggest houses around. Palace worthy. It's mostly teal, white, and gold. It's partially surrounded by a big lake. It's got a lot of windows too. Is that good enough? Oh! And it has a big courtyard out from with a ginormous fountain.
Winter jolted. She smiled. She knew that one. It was the one that Essar and Arlo had scouted out. "I know where that is. Essar scouted it out earlier Estelle. Maybe we could get on the roof somehow, and get you through the skylight. It would be cool, and we could get picked up in the ship if we needed a quick get away…"
Shiloh stood up. She walked to the end of the ramp that led to the ship's interior and looked out across the landscape. "Winter? Elias? I think it's good for you guys now. The temperature dropped a lot."
Essar nodded. "What've you learned Winter?"
(I'M SO SORRY GUYS i've had eocs and family stuff and agh it's been a mess)
(Don't be sorry! Tis okay!)
I don't know where in my house I am. I've never been here before. I never knew that this part of our house existed. It's so dark. Maroons, dark browns, blacks… Estelle trailed off shivering.
