"Tell her who you are or something," Shiloh suggested.

(OH MY FREAK I JUST HAD AN AWESOME IDEA!)

(This is the last thing I said, it's your turn Winter… I think…?)

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Winter looked at Shiloh. "I guess I could try…" Winter proceeds to send out another message "My name is Winter, I am a Hothian. A crew of six people are coming to rescue you. I am one of them. We received your transmission, and we came to help you…"

(i'm kind of tempted to novelize everything so far, so that it's more cohesive. can i do that and just put it on a google doc so that we can just check back for reference?)

~My name is Winter. Estelle looked up. I am a Hothian. A Hothian named Winter. A crew of six people are coming to rescue you. I am one of them. Estelle blinked. The tunnel in front of her grew slightly lighter. We received your transmission, and we came to help you… Estelle closed her eyes and sunk to her knees. Hope. She relaxed… relaxed… relax…~

Estelle woke with a gasp. Her shoulder throbbed and her neck ached. But she was alive. And help was coming. She closed her eyes again and focused. Winter? Are you there?

"Taken," Arlo repeated, feeling something like indignation lighting in her bones. "But not dead - not for sure dead, right? Because then I'll find them. No one can hide from me - certainly not some half-rate pirates."

"I believe it." Essar said. "Let's head back to my ship."

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Elias was wandering the ship. He was letting Winter try to communicate with the girl, and he didn't want to interfere, but most of all, he didn't want Winter to tell him that he was stupid thinking that the temperature here wouldn't harm him…

@firestarter

(I believe so, yes! ^^)

"Su'cuy!" Arlo greeted, standing at Tamra's shoulder. She kept her hands at an angle where it could easily be seen that they were empty - she trusted, of course, that Tamra's associates were not so paranoid, but one could never be too careful.

@firestarter

(Oh - that's his last name! Arlo is the sort of person who prefers to refer to people by surname and nicknames thereof rather than first names)
