Trenton looked confused and a little stunned by the sudden stop of Sam’s babbling. “I quite like being around you.” He replied, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. “You have much to say, why would I not be interested?”
Trenton looked confused and a little stunned by the sudden stop of Sam’s babbling. “I quite like being around you.” He replied, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. “You have much to say, why would I not be interested?”
Ophelia snorted.
“Because I sound like an imbecile. I like talking, but my voice must get irritating at some point.”
“At this point its our only option.” Lydia said.
"You're the boss." She said as they approached the Big House.
“I don’t believe you’ve reach that point then.” Trent still looked confused. “I find you rather refreshing to be around.”
“I guess we’re doing Country Roads then…” Lydia trailed off. “Do we want to break in outright or scout the place out first?” She asked quietly.
"What's that phrase…YOLO? You only live once, right?"
Lydia smiled. “Break in outright. I like it. Would you like to do the honors, or should I?”
Sam smiled at Trent. “You’re nice. I know why my sister likes you.”
“Thank you. I find you both kind as well.” Trent smiled warmly at Sam.
Sam snorted. “You should see us in New York.” He said, mirroring his sister.
"If you want, you can."
Lydia put her hand out for the lock picking kit, kneeling in front of the lock.
“Lydia said the same thing.” He smirked. “Now let’s go find her sword.”
Ophelia handed it to her, turning to keep a lookout.
Lydia set to work, trusting Ophelia to warm her if somebody showed up.
Meanwhile Sam asked, “Do you know where she left it?”
“We we’re sitting up on those rocks.” Trent pointed up to the ledge.
Sam easily climbed the rocks, looking around for the glint of the sword.
"You in yet?" Ophelia asked, leaning back against the wall.
Lydia took a second before answering, and then said, “Yep.” She stood up.
Ophelia turned her head sharply in the other direction. "Quick, in and close the door, someone's coming."
Lydia was in and barely waited for Ophelia before subtly pulling the door closed.
Ophelia leaned against the door and listened for a couple minutes before nodding. "All clear."
“Chair against the door or no?”
