“Mhm, sure.” He teased playfully.
(Okay, goodnight! Have fun!)

Lydia put a hand to her chest and fake gasped. “How rude!”
(I’m back)
Trent smirked, watching Lydia with amusement. “You’re very dramatic, dwarf.”
“Yeah, it’s my best trait!” Lydia declared, laughing. “Honestly, I’d probably fit in better with the Apollo kids!”
Trenton raked his hands through his hair, imitating swooning. “You are quite the ray of sunshine.”
“No! I am a ray of justice and daughter of Nemesis!”
“A ray of justice? I beg your pardon? I don’t believe that’s a proper phrase.”
“It is if I say it is.”
“That’s not how our language functions.” Trenton rolled his eyes.
“Well, it should be.”
“I need to teach you how to speak properly soon.” Trenton raised an eyebrow at her.
“Do I not speak good enough?” Lydia said, purposely mispronouncing the words to annoy Trent.
Trent flinched a little, scowling afterwards. “You speak very poorly, yes.”
“You understand what I’m saying, don’t you?”
“Yes.” He grumbled reluctantly. “But it’s not proper.”
“But if you can understand me, why do I need to speak correctly?”
“Because it isn’t proper.” Trent repeated, putting emphasis on the word. He narrowed his eyes, growing slightly agitated.
Lydia flinched. “Sorry. I’ll work on it.” She whispered.
Trenton groaned in frustration. “I didn’t mean to scare you.” He said softly, nervously chewing his lower lip.
“I know.” Lydia said quietly, still tensed up.
“I apologize, Lydia. It won’t happen again.” He assured her, almost frantically.
"It's fine, don't worry about it."
Trenton didn’t say anything, but the look on his face screamed I’m already worried about it.
"Trent, it really is ok."
“Are you certain? I don’t mean to be intimidating, I promise you. I would never do you harm.” He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.
